This is the only scale book a pupil would ever need. Clear notation as well as keyboard diagrams cater for either preference, and the accompanying activity pages build in relevant theory and ensure a robust understanding of each scale. It’s also great to see modal/blues/pentatonic scales, which are explained very clearly. A great reference manual for any pianist. And a great value purchase for anyone at the start of their piano journey as it will be in use for years.

It is a very good book showing you the correct fingering and lots of scales. Good value for money and a must have if learning the piano

This is an excellent, clear and easy to use book. It gives a systematic approach to learning and embedding scales and to understanding how they relate to each other. Highly recommend.

After years of doing scales this book has managed to piece of all together for me!The systematic way it is laid out allows a full understanding of how the scales relate to each other, and the workbook exercise check it is embedded. The keyboard layout for the broken chords in root, first and second version is great and not something I have seen in other books.

This is a great resource. Although the book might seem rather pricey you won't ever need to buy another scale book, everything you'll need is included here. Scales etc. are presented in both usual notation but also with helpful keyboard diagrams to show the finger patterns on the keyboard. I particularly like the inclusion of 'Activity pages' which provide a great way to check each scale has been properly understood.

A comprehensive guide to all the scales, arpeggios and broken chords needed for pianists up to grade 5. I especially like the way in which this book helps piano students to understand and engage with technical work, and that the content is not specific to any exam or exam board. This workbook would be my first choice to recommend to piano teachers and their students.

All scales are here and it's easy to use. Keyboard chart as well as notation and theory sheets work well.

Excellent book. One of the best in today's market, formatting and everything! Just wish the print was larger. I'd be able to focus on the lessons plans. Other than that, an excellent piano scales book :-)
