Small but functional
I needed a smaller carrier, and this one caught my attention with the shape, and that it's removable from the seat attach points.Caveat: If your bike seat has a storage space built in to the underside of the seat - you will have a slight issue.... the straps will be stretched to their farthest adjust point as they go over the seat storage area. I had to pull the carrier back towards the rear in order to allow the front straps to attach. The alternative would be to cut slots into my storage box - not doing that. The storage is small. A hat, small flashlight, micro-fiber towel, sunglasses, phone... and it's about as full as can be safely done without stuffing it. This carrier is NOT waterproof. It is "sort-of" waterproof. A light shower won't affect your valuables. A sustained rain will. Ziplock baggies would be a wise decision.

Everyday bag.
Haven't had it out in the rain, but a perfect replacement for my top box for everyday riding. I drilled the rear straps so I could bolt it where my top box plate attatches. Saves a lot of weight and improved handling a lot. Fits my lock, mask, gauntlet gloves and some other knick nacks.. No problems with the zipper, I don't try to stuff it while its strapped down (duh), when the bag is under tension.

Does the trick.
I got this to hold 3 plastic water bottles and a microfiber towel to clean my helmet. Phone goes in the inner zip pouch. Bag stays put even at speed.Just be careful when you close the zipper, if the bag is too full and the teeth don't grab properly, it could open on you. You can see it if/when this happens and a re-zip corrects it. Can't beat it for the price.

Not good for sport bikes
Because of the opening being on the front, all of your contents will fall out of you mind this on a sorry bike with a tall or angled seat. A top opening bag would work much better.

Don't buy this
The straps to secure this to the bike make no sense nor are there directions as to how it secures.
