Nice little nakiri for the money!
This knife was razor sharp right out of the box. It appears to be finished well. No sharp edges on the handle or bolster. It's well balanced. It has a slight 'belly' and rounded corner at the tip so it's easy to rock chop. The knife is made in Japan. Nice knife for the money!

Must Try Japanese Knives for Starters
These Japanese knives are excellent in both quality and price. They are for anyone that wants to try Japanese kitchen knives and sway away from traditional European kitchen knives. The spine is definitely thinner than my non-Japanese knives and sharper and makes cutting and slicing a dream.Sharpness and comfortability are 4.5 stars out of five. I only deducted 1/2 star due to the quality control. The utility knife (top) shows the knife spine being dropped/slanted compared to the other (bottom). I'm surprised it wasn't caught in the QC control since they are made in Japan.A must try in Japanese knives that won't break the bank.

Great Kitchen knife at a low price.
While a tiny bit oversized for a utility knife, at the price, it is a great value. Great for all food prep (slicing and dicing) as well as for a steak knife. Also very good looking.
