I took up the slack in the cord and tied, cut and melted the end of the cord. It made the beads tighter and shortened it a bit. I'd suggest maybe getting one a foot longer than you need because there was quite a bit of space between beads. It's a really nice color and seems like the same quality as the ones I had in grade school. Wish we could get two long ones for double dutch! I love the sound of the beads tapping the cement.

The quality seems fine so far, only had this for about a week. My son was excited that it was rainbow colors. But i should have ordered a smaller size. He’s 5 and we got the 10 foot rope. It’s too long for him to use right now. So I’ll hang onto it until he grows a bit more. I was able to use it though and it functions as you would expect.

My son needed a new jump rope so I bought this one. I was looking for the old school ones. This isn’t that. If the plastic was more durable I would be happy, but compared to the other, this one is cheaply made. Very thin plastic.

Love this jump rope and the colors! Reminds me of when I was a kid- my kids love these too. This is adjustable so you can make it smaller if necessary. Untie the knot at one end and remove a few plastic pieces - easy.

Bought this jump rope for my 5 year old little girl. It’s a nice jump rope but a little long for a 5 year old! I should have payed for attention to the description !
