Gentleman Jack The Early Life of Miss Anne Lister and the Curious Tale of Miss Eliza Raine

I love anything to do with Anne Lister but found the italic/fancy print style very difficult to read for my eyes so it will affect my pleasure in rereading.

Anyone interested in the life of landowner and prolific diarist Anne Lister must read this book about Anne’s first lover. It is heart-breaking but provides enormous insight into Anne’s years. If you are working on deciding the diaries as I am, it is also a valuable resource.
