Not up to the expectations, but feels premium texture

I have dry eyes and my optometrist recommended using a heated eye mask for 10-15mins before going to bed. I first used a microwaveable one, but it was inconvenient as I had to get ready for bed upstairs first and then had to go downstairs to the kitchen again to warm the eye mask up. I then found this electronic eye mask and I love it!! I have been using it everyday for 10 days now. It really soothes my dry eyes and also helps me sleep so much better. Since this is not supposed to be worn during the whole night sleeping, I usually set an alarm for 12-15mins because I keep falling asleep with this on since it’s so comfortable and soothing haha. Once my alarm goes off, I just take off the cord (which is magnetic) and fall asleep with it on as a sleep mask. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from dry eyes.

I use a heated eye mask nightly for MGD. (My tear ducts become clogged with oil which needs to be heated to promote normal eye function.)I have used the mask for about a week and I have to say I'm impressed. This is the 3rd or 4th mask I tried in less than a year.So far, this has been one of the better ones. I like that the attachment cord is magnetic which makes it easy to attach if you are looking.The type of heat the mask gives off is different too. It feels more like a slow, soft warm rather than an inferno. I was worried it wouldn't work because of how the heat felt but so far, so good! I know it works because without daily eye warming, I get migraines.I also like the material. Other masks that claim to have soft silk-like material are scratchy but not this one.Its also thicker and larger than a typical mask. The additional thickness and soft non scratchy material makes it feel like a light, warm pillow is on my face. I appreciate the larger size as well since I also use the mask for sleeping. Its definitely better than other masks at blocking out light due to the bigger size.Other facts:-has an auto timer for 1 hour-has 3 different heat settings that are color codedI think this is a good mask. I purchased this product after trying a different brand. The other company actually sent me a new one to replace the original defective one, however, the second one did not last long either, a total of 11 mths for both eye mask. This one isn't much better. I purchased it on Amazon, on December 17, 2020. The cord is a joke. It is way too short to use unless you are right next to the electrical outlet. I use this mask on my bed before retiring for the night and I have to lay right on the edge in order for the cord to reach the electrical outlet. If I happen to move, I would fall off the bed, which is not good for a 70+ lady. Also, the mask itself is way to big for a small person. The heating element is way to high on the mask, therefore, you have to pull it way down OVER your nostlils in order for you to feel the heat, which doesn't get very hot, anyway, and therefore, is very hard to breath when you nose is being squished down. I would not purchase this item again. The controls are a joke. You have no way of knowing how long to set it as there is not a timer included on the controls. Yes, you have low, medium, and high, but that is all the controls there are. Anyone out there have a suggestion for a reasonably priced one that ACTUALLY works.

I had to return mine because one side didn't get as hot as the other. I have blepharitis in both eyes and have to keep both eyes warm and moist to keep my symptoms away. I was looking for a more hands free, long-stay option and came to Amazon and discovered the electronic masks. This was my first try. I didn't like this particular one because it was defective but also because it didn't have a timer option so I'd fall asleep and be awaken within an hour with a cool mask, fumbling in the night to turn it back on - having to unplug it and replug it from the charger base and then the mask to get it to turn on again. I lost a lot of sleep and opted to return it for this reason as well.

I have Sjogrens Syndrome therefore my eyes are EXTREMELY dry. I like my masks to be quite hot. This one just gets warm. Anyone with dry eye in my opinion would not be happy with the temperature. On a positive note this mask was one of the most comfortable I have ever tried. The fabric feels very nice against your skin and the way it is designed just feels fantastic. If you're looking for a mask that doesn’t get too hot just to relax the comfort alone is well worth it. If it would only get hotter I would say this mask is PERFECT!!!
