breaks easily
To be fair, we live on an acreage which is rocky. I've had trimmer line in the past which was way more durable. Not bad for the price though.

Tuff Stuff
Trimline Maxi-Edge: I meant to order Arnold's Extreme Professional line for cutting under electric fences, but clicked on the wrong one. Yes. I have various clearing attachments for an annual clean-out, but those only take about a 9-10" swath and really complain when you hit something solid. You run into the occasional small patch of briers, black berry vines, rocks , limbs, piece of wire and posts. This worked just fine and didn't break off at the head like some cheap lines. In fact it seemed just as good as the expensive orange line that came with my expensive weed trimmer.

Best Trimline I've used
I live on some acreage and go through a lot of trimline during growing season. I use this in Stihl gas-powered trimmer. I mostly trim around fence posts (both wood and metal t-posts) and find the .105-inch diameter and this brand more durable than other diameters/brands I've tried. At 165 feet per spool, this usually lasts me a whole growing season. I used to buy this at Tractor Supply, but they no longer carry it (at least in my local store). Of course, I looked on Amazon and there it was. This is now one of my Amazon Buttons.
