They are made very well but I was hoping for brighter than what I already had. Not that bright

As others have said, the mounting system is horrible. Hard to assemble (even on the bench), the bracket is wider than the casting so it bends into a U shape when you tighten it, and the provided screws are too long so they hit the casting before the bracket tightens. Also the advertised wattage is way off....mine draw 1.2A at 18V for approx 22w total for the pair.The good....they are very bright and have a very uniform and wide beam pattern.

These lights are a real bargain and provide excellent light from my roof rack for side and rear illumination when camping or looking for campsites when off road. However, these lights generate an enormous amount of radio interference when turned on. Two of these lights are near my ham radio antennas and wipe out the 2-meter band when on; luckily they're rarely on so it's not really an issue most of the time. The only other noteworthy item is that some of the mounting hardware has started to rust... so not necessarily stainless steel...
