Works great for swim class
My son has swim class every week and we were both drying up like prunes from the chlorine. We now “frost” ourselves with this stuff before class and neither of us have had dry or smelly skin since. Be forewarned though that it will make your child into one seriously slippery seal, so you may want to frost them with some time before getting into the pool. It takes all my strength to hold his as he’s slipping and sliding around between my hands. Nevertheless I’m happy with this and then a good post swim body soap after. We got the fragrance free and it smells fine, but not tasty like actual frosting.

Helps with my skin when swimming
I've been using this product for 2 months off and on when I swim. I'll put it on about an hour before going to swim, then right as I'm about to go in I'll put more on and then add aquaphor to help protect the skin while I'm swimming. I've swam for about 5 hours and it's lasted through playing, laps, whatever. When I get out, I apply more on and it helps my skin not feel irritated until I can rinse off. This product does help take away the sting that parts of my skin would feel being irritated from chlorine. It doesn't fully prevent it but instead of being itchy and in pain for a few days after I can better function and my skin gets back to normal sooner and it's a great lotion overall. It's been a saving grace this hot summer!

Amazing! No rash after swim!
I have been 'allergic' to chlorine for as long as I can remember. I use quotations because I have never been formally tested by an allergist or dermatologist but with the process of elimination I have determined that it is the pool that gets me every time. Any time I swim in a pool or lounge in a hot tub I end up with hives on my fore arms and inner thigh. I did a lot of research and decided to try the neutralizing power of vitamin C. I have tried so many things and I find that pre gaming for the pool is much easier than trying to handle it after the fact. One doesn't always have the option of immediately removing the wet swim suit and showering off. I have used this lotion 3 times now. It has saved me the embarrassing rash and incessant itching. While in the pool you can feel the barrier it has created to protect the skin. I do recommend reapplying after about an hour of swim as I did get a very minor rash after the second use. Hopefully they will make this lotion forever, because no amount of itchy hives will stop me from my love of swimming pools.

Works but Hate smell.
I bought the unscented and the smell is so bad I can only tolerate the smell if I have been really scratching. I expected unscented to not have a scent not to just stink. Just can't bring myself to use it do to the smell. I wonder if the ingredientes went bad in the heat or something. I wish I would have returned it when I 1st opened it up. Bad value if you can use it.

Holy cow it works!
Either my body must absorb more chlorine than most people or spending 4-5 days in the YMCA pool has been too much for my skin. I could even smell the chlorine after I took a shower post swim then again before bed. When I crawled into the sheets I could still smell it.It's worked to stop the itchiness and my skin isn't as dry.Plus that chlorine smell problem was resolved by putting the teensiest bit on the end of my nostrils which takes away the chlorine odor.I'm not using it as a sunblock since the Y has indoor pools.Only draw back is this 8 oz. container won't last me long.
