Vegan Beard Brush - Vegetal Bristles for Beard and Moustache from Golden Beards - The Best Vegan Beard Grooming kit from Germany.

Wasn't sure if the brush being smaller than many others on the market would be a problem but it's just fine for a short beard at least. Also wondered if the handle was a bit superfluous but actually it does help use the brush - I can see that if it didn't have a handle and was a similar size it would be difficult to use. The whole thing is just 14cm long - with an average size, slim build hand I can only get 3 fingers properly around the handle but I don't find this a problem - just use it several times a day without thinking about it. Bristles are good to scratch through thick hair to the skin underneath. Also does help straighten beard hair more than a comb - keeps it looking tidy - after getting this as a first brush, found I don't need to trim as often to keep it looking tidy. Bristles could perhaps be a fraction stiffer. My skin can develop psoriasis if scratched a lot in one place (e.g. on arms) but I've not found any problems with this brush (on bald patches in beard etc). I did find that the brush lost some dye colour and some bits when washing it with shampoo before first use but that reduced on a second wash so I think it's fine. Yes it does smell oddly of Quorn vegan nuggets, funnily enough but just get used to it (and at least it doesn't smell like a small furry animal) - it just becomes a kind of familiar feature of it. Am wondering if the smell is also reducing a bit over a few weeks - seems less obvious now. I also found the bristle spacing is just right to clean out beard-druff build-up on the wood inside with a cotton bud. Thanks Golden Beards! :-{)>

Who knew that every beard brush was make from farmed Bore hair? I never until I came to purchase one.Thankfully this option is brilliant. It's just the right size and its firm very firm to straighten my beard.It spreads the oils and the beard balm really nicely and does not stick to the bristles!It would be nice if it was slightly softer but honestly it's 95% perfect.

Great that there is a vegan brush on the market. The small size didn’t bother me too much, but the brush itself is so harsh compared to the boar hair equivalents.I dunno, maybe I’ve got more sensitive skin on my face, but after one use, the bristles made my cheeks red raw and didn’t give my beard that soft feeling the other brushes do.Obviously won’t be getting an animal hair brush, but I doubt I’ll be using this one much more either...It’s not a reflection of the company - their other brushes review well and this one is well crafted - I’m glad they’ve given a vegan brush a shot. It’s just a shame that there isn’t one on the market yet that’s up to scratch with the non-vegan alternatives.

The bristles are super hard, scratchy and uneven. I have a short beard so it might just might be good for a long beard. Very little bristles. But perfect small size with comfy handle.

Great little brush. Not too harsh on the skin/beard. Just perfect for straigning beard out.
