Runs large & canāt return it
I have a regular sized cat. She is neither teeny tiny, nor is she super huge. She is distinctly average (sorry Sheila!)So, after she was spayed, I ordered a size medium pineapple cat recovery collar, but itās way too big for my medium-sized cat. Weird huh? It looks great, is really soft & seemingly well made, but Sheila can get out of it within seconds, even when itās squeezed as tightly as it will go around her average-sized cat neck.No problem, I thought. Iāll return it and swap it for a smaller size. But wait a minute, thereās a twist in the tale because RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED!!! Rude.Granted I didnāt check the return status when I pressed ābuyā last night, but now Iām stuck with a pudgy cat necklace for a non-pudgy cat with Houdini-like tendencies.Itās a dark day.

Cat uses this as a pillow
My cat hates having to wear a collar and I think she finds it really uncomfortable so I tried this and she seems to love it. She uses it as a pillow, but it still protects her from grooming areas that need to heal

Best cone cushion ever
My cat doesn't mind this cone, she can easily move around in it even jump up on her tower so it's a win for us.She sleeps in it and can use her litter tray. I take it off if she needs to eat though as it gets in the wayOnly downside is it doesn't stay upright but meh it's useful

Kept my 10 year old cat away from her staples from breast cancer surgery
She wanted a belly rub one day, and I felt a hard lump that was slightly larger than a pea on her belly. Her brother had just died from intestinal lymphoma a year and a half ago, so I figured she had cancer. She had a positive biopsy and then a radical mastectomy. The entire length of her belly was sutured and stapled. She lost her mind when we put the Elizabethan collar on her, undressed herself when I put a little dress on her, but she couldn't get this strawberry off. She didn't even try that much. She thought she was cleaning her surgical site, but she would just be licking the strawberry. It held up through her grooming it for two weeks. I had to wash it a few times, sometimes just spot hand wash and others I would put it in a lingerie bag and wash it with my gentle wash. So, yes, I purchased two so I always had a clean one. You can tighten it around the neck with a toggle. I did untie the knot at the end of the strings so that she wouldn't get it caught on anything. I also put a security camera in the bathroom with her so I could check on her on my phone if I wasn't home. If your cat is having surgery, this is SO much better than those hard cones. Yes, she could eat and drink with it.
