Male Dog Belly Band, Royal, Small

I have a little 9 lb Maltese with TCC (Bladder Cancer). As he advances in his disease....he has become incontinent. Until the time he is ready to move on, it's about Comfort Care. I have tried so many different belly bands out there that leave when they are made with elastic band used to keep in place. The material used to make these bands is a stretchy almost like spandex or scuba gear.....very easy to wash. I just throw in the washer and air dry. I bought several so when one is being washed I can use a clean one. The best pad to use inside is a Poise pad (cut in half) to catch the urine when he leaks. My only suggestion would be a longer Velcro strip along the outside length of the band for achieving better snugness when taking in consideration the size of the pad one chooses inside your band.. I like the fact that this band leaves no red marks across his belly and there is typically no slippage of the band to expose penis for urination outside the band.Overall this is best one I've found out there.One other feature I like is that its a quick pull to release band when the dog is outside to do his business. Sometimes timing is everything.

I love the idea of this technology. You just add a feminine pad to this belly band and you should be in good shape. Not quite! The urine still spills out of the pad because the band does not snug the pad in. So, there is not a second guard that keeps the urine from spilling. It was frustrating because I could wrap the band just in time on my dog only to have to clean the pee on the floor anyway. So, this wrap should have some depth on the belly to hold the feminine pad, plus some absorbing material to avoid spill. This material does not absorb any drop of pee. So, I ordered another brand and I'm doing great with that. I didn't get a refund for this. I should have returned them, but now I know how to do that. When you don't return bad products, little by little you are throwing money away. Posting reviews is very important. Now, I really take my time to read reviews because they have come true even on four star products. I will write reviews more often to help consumers like me. Another huge problem, before I close, this product was really dangerous for my dogs. The band slides forward and very often the dog's penes would get out over the band and stuck, making the raw flesh be out of his prepuce and in the air until we realized he was in trouble. We would always realize sooner than later because our dogs are always close to us when we were at home, but can you imagine if this happened when we weren't home. The dog would be suffering for sure because there would be nobody to take it off. This thing is not safe for dogs. It's too narrow and slippery. Terrible product and not great, as far as washing it. They need to improve this product, urgently.

I just bought an unneutered Ch. male Smooth coat Chi for show. He cannot be neutered, so this was a challenge in my house with all females and he is old enough it probably wouldn't matter at this point anyway. He is almost 5 pounds and hikes his leg on everything!!! The X-Small fit him perfectly with room for a thick pad because he never really stops hiking his leg all day long. Although, I have to change the pads frequently, he has never managed to get it off and I have no problem with smells or it leaking or anything, so I am very happy! These are awesome. They aren't super dorky or look like a diaper on him so he can still be the little stud he is. I am definitely ordering more in case something ever happens to this one.They work very well!

I bought this for me beagle that wants to mark lately due to our younger dog trying to take over the dominant spot in the house (after me). The medium fits great on a 37 lb beagle (not fat, just bigger). It seems a little tight at first but it stretches a bit after use. I can fit a medium size pad in it as well. I bought an extra one in large and this just give more room on the velcro. Any dog over 40 lbs would want a large. These are very easy to wash and dry. I have purchased two now. Its nice to have a back up while the other is getting washed. These have been a great solution to what I hope is a temporary issue.

OK, I'm not a good dog trainer. I can't housebreak my two little yorkies so I use these all the time while they are in the house. They fit great and there is plenty of room for women's sanitary pads to be used with them. They sure have saved my house from smelling of urine and me from having to clean up after them. I have bought many of these over the last several years and will only buy this brand. I highly recommend these if you need them for your little furry baby.

This really works as a training tool to keep my dog from marking in the house. This is something he seems to do after spending time with his dog cousins. Also, he hates to go outside in the rain and didn't always empty his bladder. When this happens, I put it on him and no accidents when I come home from work. He doesn't seem to mind it and I rarely have to use it now. He is a medium sized dog and this fit great.

My dog loves to mark his territory and this awesome product was recommended by his groomer so I went on amazon and purchased one. Ever since I have been able to leave my dog out and not locked up in the cage all day knowing that he is not running around peeing in my new apartment while im away. It leaves you with a great peace of mind. And sometimes he leaks a little bit and he got a little rash so its better to put a little panty liner in it so it won't mess with their skin and to catch the leaks and it also helps to keep it from stinking....

Finally, a great belly band! The medium fits my 16 pound Westie perfectly, whether using a thick or thin pad. They are soft and flexible for comfort. I now have three of this brand. I bought and returned several other brands before finding these. Some were too stiff against the hind legs. others too wide, or just not sized as described. While my dog is 14" where they indicate to measure, the center of the band is forward of that waistline. So you might want to add about 2" to your dog's waist for the sizing chart.
