Beware before you install this sink if you plan on installing a garbage disposal make sure the extended flange fits! I received my sink it was beautiful, had it installed which included attaching it to the counter and cabinet. But when my plumber came a few days later to install the faucet and garage disposal that is when we discovered that we had a problem. At first I thought maybe I had the wrong flange but after buying 4 different ones (plumbing supply; Home Depot, Amazon ) including the one from the sink manufacturer who charged me $54 to ship it, what I had suspected from the beginning was the case. When they made the sink they didn’t cut the hole wide enough and it was about 1/4” too small in diameter (should of been 3.5) The vendor was very difficult to deal with and in denial that the hole was not big enough even though I emailed them photos they won’t help me at all. Now I’m stuck with this sink and I can’t have a garage disposal installed. The sink is lovely but if you get a sink that has any issues forget counting on this vendor to help.

We installed this fire clay sink a year ago. It makes an impression when you walk into the kitchen. Even our contractor took pictures and bragged to other friends and clients about it. We built a sturdy base for it using angle iron and a piece of plywood slightly smaller than the sink dimensions. The angle iron was cut into the sides of the base cabinet to the dimension needed for installation. I chose to expose the upper edge of the sink (and to not recess it under a countertop). Plywood was placed on top of the angle iron, then some foam furniture pads for the sink to sit on. Highly recommend this project.

It's a very nice sink - at least as nice as a previous farmhouse sink I purchased from another supplier. It's reversible - so you can display either the plain or fluted front. The only frustration (and this seems to be true of any farmhouse sink), the bottom is virtually flat, with almost no perceptible slope to the drain. This requires one to chase food around the sink with a sprayer to finally get it into the drain.

This sink is very sturdy and beautiful. It is a perfect accent to our new kitchen. We are slightly disappointed with the drain. There is not enough of decline towards the drain and you have to push all the food to the drain. Even with water running, the food does not move towards the drain. Overall, we are pleased with the sink but we will pay more attention to the decline towards the drain when we purchase another sink.

We loved this sink and it shipped with no damage. However when we went to install the garbage disposal, we noticed the hole in the sink was off center AND was too small for the garbage disposal flange. Our plumber said that the flanges are all a standard size and cant be changed. So we had toreturn the sink. We are getting the replacement in 2 days (Thru Amazon) so we are hoping the new one will have the right sized hole. I noticed other people had this problem so hoping it was just abad “lot”. This was inconvenient because we haven't had a kitchen sink for a month! I will update after we get the new one.*Update - We got a sink replacement very quickly thanks to Amazon but we opened the box and it had the same off center hole that was also 1/4 inch too small for the garbage disposal flange. Sadly, this one is going back too. Either Ruvati doesnt make their sink to accommodate a standard disposal or they have produced a batch with holes too small. The sink is beautiful wish we could have used it.
