Box is manly, candle was ok. Burned very fast and wick started on fire!

My first candle was stolen. They replaced it quick. I gotta say it did not disappoint!! Looking forward to getting another one lightens the mods for sure.

If you're looking for a really pungent candle that will smell up the whole house, this is not it. This is more of a soothing smell that makes the room smell good without overpowering your senses. It's tough to describe the scent, but rest assured, it does smell more manly than most candles. The biggest draw for me was that 20% of the proceeds go to end human trafficking - a cause worthy of every penny. This candle comes with a wood wick, so it burns very similar to the actual WoodWick candles. I've burned it for several hours, so my pictures so the result of what it looks like after probably 5-6 hrs of burning. There's still plenty left. One of my pictures has a pen on top of it to show you the diameter of the candle. The candle case itself is very sleek and professional looking, and it comes in a nice box. Overall it's a nice candle to have in the kitchen after cooking some rather potent smelling foods and needing to clear out the food-smell. I think I received +10 to manliness as well, because to light this thing you have to play with fire, and fire is manly. :)

This ManKandle comes packaged very well for gift-giving. All black and silver packaging in the really sturdy gift box, and the candle itself is black glass with the ManKandle label in silver. It really is a nice looking box and candle set.For just under $20 (at time of this review), it’s a really great price for what you receive. It’s a good sized candle too.I’m used to the wooden wick as I have candles with wooden wicks—they not only look organic and nice, but they often crackle nicely too. No problems lighting these kinds of wicks and I do like the look better than the cotton wicks.I can’t find where they describe the scents and that’s a bit of a disappointment as you just guess at it. This ‘Courage’ scent is strong and on the sweet side. I want to say that old Bay Rum that is some distant memory...? But, again, since they don’t describe the notes of the scent and I can’t really detect what it is, I’m at a loss. My guy says it throws a lot of scent and reminds him of walking in an old-fashioned barbershop.These are heavily advertised as candles for men almost to being a little old-fashioned, but of course women can enjoy them too, and the candle itself is very understated and nice looking.Thanks for reading!

Men.... candles are just not for women. This is really a nice candle. I love the fragrance to it. Display is very elegant and works well in my office. Comes in a very nice gift box. I love the fact that part of the proceeds go to helping stop human trafficking. As a man I love to stand behind this cause. I think you will enjoy this candle.
