There are so many hot new hair products on the market now, but I'm old school. And oddly enough, apprenly TikTok (which I do not have) is currently recommending the old school method that I've always favored of rotating your skin and hair products to maximize their benefits. This was something my hairdresser taught me when I was a teenager in the mid- to late- 80s, and it just seemed like common sense.So, along with my Ouai conditioner (a much lighter, relatively new product on the market), and a couple of other things I'm experimenting with, I usually keep a Kerastase product. When I'm blonde, I keep a tub of a deeper conditioner; now that I'm back to brunette, I keep this product, a true blue high end salon classic and surely an Allure beauty hall of famer by now (I could be wrong about this, but it should be; I currently live in my hometown of Dallas, where hair has always been serious, serious business (when I move to other places it's just not the same) and Kerastase is a way of life in this town.So I hope you believe me when I tell you that Nutritive Fondant amazing stuff even after all these years. I have white girl hair with a slight wave, and my air-dried curls look *amazing* after I use this stuff--they set, hold, and shine beautifully. It also helps keep my ends looking great when I use hot tools. And (super important), it's great for color. I don't know how it performs on other curl patterns, but with this kind of richness, I can imagine it's probably a good choice.Since his formula is very rich, it's easy to over condition--so please be careful. It's expensive, but if you use it correctly, it lasts a very, very, very long time, especially if you use it the new old school way and rotate it with other products. Highly recommended, and a classic for good reason
