Good teeth to grip foods

...then you NEED these tongs. They are perfectly designed, engineered, and manufactured with excellent quality control. The jaws do not bend under load like other tongs because the C-channel construction that extends all the way to the tips of the jaws won't allow it.The handles are not those cheap one-sided rubber things that start sliding off when you try to use them; they are instead made of thermoplastic that is bound THROUGH the stainless steel tongs into each other so they will never fall off.The tongs are one-piece (the plastic handles are molded in), so the spring is a natural semi-loop leaf spring with just the right amount of force keeping them open, so your hand won't get tired using it over long cooks.The jaws are naturally narrow because of the strong C-channel design, but I actually like them like that -- kind of halfway between cooking tongs and cooking forceps.Folks, you really should buy a pair of these tongs.I hope my review helps.

The are great for turn what ever one is cooking. Easy to wash.

Summary:I really like these guys: they've quickly become my go-to tongs, in place of the more classic flat, paddle-blade devices available from multiple well-known brands. They're not perfect, though: most particularly, they're not as strong as the description suggests, and you have to be careful to keep them clean. The blue handle is not full-coverage, so you'll be touching bare metal when you grip them, and the edge finishing isn't the best.For the price, though, they're a great buy; I don't regret buying them at all, and might even pick up another, just for convenience: one to manipulate my bacon when it's raw, and and another when it's mostly cooked.Likes:Agreeably lightweight and easy to use;These things have real teeth: they're excellent for turning small pieces of slippery food, like meat, while cooking, e.g. sausages, pork chops, though because of the teeth, the arms aren't flat, so you may have a little trouble picking up things that are really flat. Having said that, I use them for picking bacon rashers out of the packet: I bake bacon in glass pans, and these are excellent for that. See note below about trapped food, though...Dislikes:They're NOT high strength at all (and not hardened, as they should be): I inadvertently bent mine when picking up something on the heavier side. The teeth are so effective you'll be tempted to try to pick up a small pork roast or a whole chicken: don't! On the plus side, if bent, they're quite easy to bend back - just mind the teeth!The curved sheet metal design of the "business end" leaves areas that can easily trap food material, so be careful to clean them properly after use, or even in use, if you use them for meat from raw to fully cooked.Lastly, they're not optimal for outside grill use, because you cannot use them without touching bare metal, which conducts heat quickly.

These will do the job in general but I am disappointed that they are not high strength as advertised, they flex too much for lifting heavier pieces on the BBQ and they are why I bought them. When applying too much pressure they tend to want to flex to the point that the two tips misalign and almost close past each other, I wish they were heavier and flexed less for my needs otherwise they are barely ok for the price.

Have not used it yet but was disappointed that the tongs looked like it was used already!D
