Great for family videos
I have never used a Gimble before. But I have heard of them and seen them being used. I thought this would be great to try for videos with the family. Comes in a box which looks well presented. You put the parts together which is very easy and you definitely don’t need the instructions for.I had to take my phone out of its phone case to put it in which is a bit fussy when you are out and about as I definitely don’t want to be taking my phone in and out of its case. The Pole is also a telescopic pole so you can make it longer or shorter depending on your needs.I first started using it and didn’t think much of it … In fact I thought it wasn’t working but then realised you actually have to turn it on and it requires batteries! So once I turned it on I realised how well it actually works. I tested it by running around filming and then when I put the video back it didn’t even look like I was moving. Really incredible piece of kit. I’m sure it has lots of other features but as a first-time user of a Gimble, and a definite amateur at that, I think it’s absolutely perfect for family videos. Would be great for on the beach and running around the parks and things like that. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the price.I think it’s a lot of money for someone who is an amateur but then again it could also be super good for people more experienced. I would recommend it – it makes such a difference to videos it’s unbelievable.

A fancy selfie stick
Whin I ordered this I new absolutely nothing about it, I'd never even seen one before and to be honest I found I was very nieve to this product.I dont know exactly what I was expecting but it's so much more complicated and complex to use than what I needed it to be.If your into filming alot on your phone and using the videos for more than just family memories then maybe this smart stick is for you.If your wanting something to to take a few family photos some holiday shots then this maybe a bit more than what you are going to need. There are so many buttons and dials on this and I'm still not 100% sure how it all proply works, it's all about trial and error on how to use everything and get used to all the settings and movements of the smart stick.I found some of the movements of the stick a bit jittery and not as smooth as I was expecting however that also could of been something I was doing rong. The smart stick is quite heavy I wouldt like to think I had to carry it around long periods of time as my arm would start to ache.Overall I'm sure it has its pluss points but it's just to Complex for what I was expecting.

Superb value gimbal for professional results. With caveats.
I confess to be a gimbal sceptic coming into this, but am firmly converted now - at least in specific circumstances. I don't use it all the time because sometimes all you want is a selfie stick and this is a bit bulkier and it's harder to remain unobtrusive when using it.It works fantastically well at keeping a shot steady when remaining focused on one thing (eg the subject), but I get judder when using it for panning shots - paired with my Pixel 4a 5g. It is possible that I haven't yet unearthed the specific setting within the app that fixes this, but so far results in this situation haven't been great.First things first is to charge up the device (making sure to use the right USB socket), then download the companion app and configure bluetooth to recognise the gimbal. Remove the phone from its case and mount it securely and as centrally as you can manage - this would have been easier if the design had more clearance so it's clear of the volume rocket on the 4a. Then hold down the power button and the device springs into life. You can then use a combination of the app and the controls on the gimbal to shoot your footage. This is the sort of device that repays being setup correctly and the user following instructions before plenty of practice. Once done, it's a rock-solid gimbal at a low price.

Works as good as a good gimbal should.
If you are the active type and want to record flawless steady shots then you need a gimbal and this gimbal from FeiyuTech is quite the machine.First off, this gimbal is light. If you need to shoot all day then a light gimbal is necessary, hopefully, this will not wear you down with fatigue. It also needs to be reasonably compact and small too.As this is a 3-axis gimbal, it is reassuring to know that when you fold down, all the axis are locked down to prevent damage to its axis. It can then be easily put in a pocket or a bag.The design is creative too, the motor on this gimbal is “off” to one side. This allows you to take wide-angle shots without the gimbal being in the shot. Good attention to detail in indeed.A gimbal is only good if it does what it is supposed to do i.e giving you a smooth and steady shot. This gimbal offers that, but if you are running on uneven terrain, the gimbal has a slight unevenness. On flat smooth surfaces then this gimbal will give other more highly-priced gimbals a run for their money. There are better equipped and better-stabilising gimbals out there, but all that is offered at a much higher price. For an enthusiast who wants the best shots but is not quite at a professional level then this gimbal from FeiyuTech is more than adequate.

Super smooth
Great gimbal via handheld selfie stick, great for photos and videos. You need to use the specific app to operate which has a down side as it leaves a watermark on the video and photos taken. I’ve not found a setting to turn this of yet so only assume it can’t be turned off.Can be worked above or below. With the flick of a button it’ll change to working off the floor or in the air for different shots. Found the one off the floor so good for taking shots of kids doing sports. Gives an all new perspective from an angle unseen before.Great bit of kit. Note that before turning on you must mount a phone or it can cause damage to gimbal.Recommend
