Mighty Max Battery YTX14-BSGEL -12 Volt 12 AH, 200 CCA, Rechargeable Maintenance Free SLA AGM Motorcycle Battery

Service center wanted to charge an arm and a leg to replace my i3's battery (the 12V one, not the main one.) Turns out the battery is 100% proprietary (because... BMW), so you can't find it for a good price online or find it AT ALL at local shops, nor do any 3rd parties make one. Worse yet, rumor has it on forums that BMW's OEM batteries suck. They have poor cold performance and a short lifespan, despite the high cost.Well, after taking measurements and trudging through *battery after battery* manually, I finally discovered this one! Not only does it exceed the CCA and capacity of the original, but it even looks hella cool in the process.Amazon was sure to warn me this wasn't "compatible with my car," but I am not known for taking the conventional route. However, I am happy to report that aside from some minor tweaks to the BMW proprietary L-bracket(tm), namely several extra washers, it fits flawlessly, including the OEM battery terminals. I've had it installed for two months now and safe to say it's been working flawlessly.I am leaving this review for anyone who may happen to have an i3 or other BMW with the same battery in need of a replacement, because it certainly wasn't easy to find.

Pros:300 CCA, not 200 CCADimensions were accurate, fit into motorcycle easilyCons:Blue color (nitpicking)I purchased this battery as it was listed as a direct replacement for my 1996 Honda ST1100. The unit dropped right in and the terminals give a positive grip. The wires have not loosened after 600 miles of riding. My only gripe is the color. I can see the bright blue on my bike from certain angles. Black paint was a simple fix. Again, I'm nitpicking. It's a quality battery and based on others I have purchased of the same brand, they hold up over time.

My previous review I had not heard from the company regarding the faulty battery. The company has been in touch with me and has offered a replacement for the faulty battery. Very pleased with the customer service and the outcome.

Battery run in our Yamaha Vx Cruiser Waverunner for about a month. Ran it this weekend and parked the ski for the night...next day it was dead. Testing shows that it dropped a cell...only putting out 10v and will not take charge for Gel, AGM or traditional. Load tester fails...bad cell.I've been trying to register this battery since new and the their website always states "Google reCAPTCHA verification failed, please try again later." I let them know this through their Contact Us form and no answer.Good luck getting a warranty claim or longevity out of this!FYI we bought two. Trust me I'll be back when this other one drops a cell too.

Works great at a good price

I’ve always bought YUASA, But I couldn’t find any in stock and it was gonna take a week and a half. This was nine dollars cheaper than what my Local guy could get and it was gonna take five days And this one was delivered in one day. He had another one in stock that was $120 more and not even lithium. I didn’t get lithium because I didn’t want to buy a separate charger to balance the cells. This worked in My Suzuki Blvd., M90 VZ1500. PERFECT FIT And it seems to start it right up.

We have an older Craftsman garden tractor, and it was in need of a battery. This appeared to be the correct replacement... and the price was right.After removing the old battery I found this was a bit too wide for the mounting location. I was able to trim the battery tray a little though and get this wedged in there. So far so good... it's survived some weeks now.

This battery is holding up very well and the price was great.
