The quality is fair so far it handles the air conditioning. It is cheap because it is doing a tough job. Durability remains to be seen. So far it handles the job since I bought it. The air conditioner it handles is memorable because success and survival is the story here.

My third try for a vent hose. #1 with a 4 inch coupling was too short to go from the dryer to the window BUT the 4" fit the dryer. #2 the 4 inch coupling did NOT fit the dryer at all. #3 had to go up to a 5 inch coupling and it fit the dryer and was the perfect length too. Very durable, well made. Very pleased.

I ordered this specifically because it came with hose clamps.Well, it didn't. So now I'm off to Home Depot.Sigh.

I had waited too long to install this to be able to get a refund, but I did try to get a replacement thinking the seller might be kind enough to do an exchange, but instead they suggested I contact Amazon customer service. No positive response their either.So why my strong review? Well...I installed this hose and within 1 week it started falling apart on it's own. At first it was just split around one round of the coil. I wrapped some gorilla duct tape around it and it held for a few days. Next time I checked it, the hose is hanging together by the thin wire coil while the bulk of the hose is nearly on the floor. So I put multiple layers of tape round the hose. Thinking that there's no way this is going to fall apart again with the remainder of the roll of tape wrapped around it, I came back a few days later and the tape was still in place while a new break in the hose developed. I then bought a new roll of duct tape and wrapped it as best I could followed by a beeline to my laptop to order a more heavy duty ac hose.So far, I'm super happy with the new hose...and absolutely NOT happy with the decision to purchase this hose that probably isn't even good enough to lay flat on the ground without falling apart. The only use I can see for this crappy hose is if you might want to use it as some sort of halloween decoration.Avoid this frustrating purchase. Spend a few extra $$ and get something that will not fall apart under it's own weight. I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews, but with the lack of car from the seller, why not? If they don't care, why should I?
