Covers the most important topics in human physiology. Very helpful for a quick refreshment of knowledge.

I really like the big Guyton but sometimes I don't have time to read it or re-read before classes. I have also BRS physiology but I find it too factual and better as a final review.This pocket Guyton is perfect to read before reading big Guyton and tackle the whole chapter. Also as a refresher after reading a chapter before classes. This is my favorite "condense" physiology. Easy to read and information easily understood. (Unlike Ganong's...)Positive:- small Guyton- easy to read- the e-book option is perfect way to use the book on the go.Neutral:- very few pictures but that's understandable and since I like to just touch up before and after reading big Guyton it doesn't bother me.Negative:- the binding is really bad, the book seems really fragile... I already have a few pages just about to fall out. That's why I use mostly the e-book version that came with it.Overall I love it because of the information (fan of Guyton physiology) and that it came with the e-book. I would recommend it. But maybe just go with a e-book version...

The book contains high yield topics that are summarized wonderfully. It’s a nice review book for on the go reading.

Very good.but the words could've been a bit more large.

This book is WONDERFUL!As a medical student I do not have time to read the whole book, but the pocket guide gives me exactly what I need to draw a nice outline in my mind of what is being taught in class.It is definitely a bit too big for most pockets that I can know, so it is not really possible to carry around with you in your white coat (unless you are REALLY motivated), but the information is great, well organized, well written, and a great start to studying!
