Seems fine for a light moisturizer, but I didn’t notice any difference between this and the drugstore brand I usually use.

This is a very light cream that goes on smooth and easy and helps with dark circles and puffiness. Works well.

I'm such a cheese ball when it comes to praising the WINKY LUX brand of K-Beauty products. I've made no secret that I adore their product line and have great success with it. My latest acquisition is this Wakey Wakey Brightening & Depuffing Eye Cream. The look and feel of the eye cream is superb, and it does a decent job. However, this will be one time that I raise some red flags. The ingredient list is pretty long, and some of the better ingredients are at the end, which means lesser concentration and that's disappointing. But, I'm also drawing attention to use of PHENOXYETHANOL, a common preservative used in skincare that also attacks bacteria formation.Europe has a different opinion of this chemical's safety than the U.S. I don't have an issue with it in American made products because of FDA regulation, and it almost always appears at the tail end of the ingredient list, if not the last ingredient. Again, in U.S. made products, the FDA has not shown it poses a risk.However, other countries do not use our FDA standards and I'm more concerned when I notice this ingredient more than halfway up the ingredient list where it's more prominent in concentration. Mica which can cause serious lung damage is also on the list, but at the bottom and not likely to be an issue, unless in an inhalable form, like powder.My concerns may be unfounded, but I'm very cautious with my skin, so I may not use this eye cream as frequently or with the same certainty as others because of the phenoxyethanol alone, even if the cream continues to produce desired results. The skin area around the eye is quite thin and more susceptible to absorption of bad ingredients. I'm not interested in borrowing trouble, and I'm on the fence on this one.

I've experimented with a lot of different eye creams, and this Winky Lux "Wakey Wakey" eye cream is definitely among the better ones. It doesn't feel quite as moisturizing as some others I've used -- it absorbs quickly and disappears into skin -- but it delivers on its promise of brightening and depuffing. The cream feels soothing and refreshing against delicate under-eye skin, and really does make tired eyes look more alert and well rested.Beyond the effectiveness of this eye cream, I like its pretty packaging and I love the fact that it is cruelty-free, paraben-free, and made in the USA. I also appreciate the tube with squeeze-out application, which offers better control and less waste than jar creams. This has become my go-to morning eye cream, and I use a richer, more hydrating eye cream before bed. Together, they help keep my eyes looking younger than my actual (50+) age. I'm very satisfied with this product!

It adds a punch of moisture and really helps to soothe my super dry skin along with reducing puffiness. It also helps to reduce fine lines.
