Breaks after a few uses
I like the functionality of the product. Reaches deep down into smaller heads. However, it will break after a few uses. Had a new one sent to me after thinking it was a defective one, but the replacement also broke after normal use.

Don’t buy it !!!!
Made it through 4 valves but couldn’t figure out why the tool wouldn’t hold its adjustment. Because it made out of flimsy metal that was bending on every valve I was taking out.

It worked
It was one of the only devices that could pull the valves from a set of 454 heads from the 70’s, so it did work. But, as you can see in the photo this thing flexes a lot, both on the x and y axis. I am guessing it’s due to the rivets. It’s also pretty difficult to get positioned right to where it doesn’t shift on the spring, but once you get the hang of it they come out fairly quickly. I don’t know what its longevity will be but bottom line it is working and seems like a decent deal for the price.

Worked as intended to disassemble valvetrain
Used to disassemble valvetrain on a Subaru EJ series DOHC cylinder head. While there are valve spring compressors specifically designed for Subarus that mount to the camshaft bearing cap mounts that work just as well, I got this spring compressor because it isn't limited to only one specific application.Though I cannot confirm it it's functionality for other cylinder head designs, I see no reason why it wouldn't work on those as well. It's reasonably priced, worked perfectly, and didn't feel poorly built.

Not that durable
I used this in my 80s muscle car and it worked only for 10 valves. It broke on the pivot point attempting the 11th valve. Yes it’s adjustable and it is kinda easy to use. Just not durable. Or at least not for all engine I assume

Works great
Works great but it didn't last to finished the 16 valves before the top hinge rivet snapped off and bend one of the bracket was able to get 13 of 16 springs installed on a Toyota engine. Straighten out the bracket and replace the broken rivet with a 10mm bolt and nut . And work great to get the valve springs completed. So be aware it will failed at some point. In my case the Rivet was the weak link.
