In the past, I have always gone to the watchmaker’s every time I needed my battery changed. Usually every two years with the watches I’ve been using the last two decades. Of course they have their markups to make money, but I’ve not thought too much about it.Last time my watch was due an energy boost, however, I decided I’d try changing the battery myself, just to compare it both in time and money spent with going to a professional, and so I bought this battery.My watch is waterproof, but only PR50, so it isn’t too hard to get into for a battery change. Of course I had to wait for the battery to arrive, but apart from that, the whole process took me less than five minutes.As for the battery itself, it still works fine more than a year later, and I have no doubt it will last the prescribed two years before I change it again. I might do it myself once more now that I know how easy it is to do.
