Great shoes but they run small!
I tried several different models from Brooks before finally settling on Glycerin 19 for my daily trainer. I wanted the same kind of firm and sturdy sole that I love in the Hyperion Tempo. I was hesitant to try a highly cushioned show after running in Hoka Clifton 7 and finding them too squishy, but the Glycerin 19s are a dream. Super comfy and cushiony but with a nice firm sole that still gives plenty of energy return. I also typically have a hard time getting my heel locked in adequately but have no problems with that in these. I love how the uppers hug my foot and make me feel nice and locked in—i don't even need to use a runners loop!My one gripe is that these run really small. The Amazon page says "true to size, order your usual size" which is what I did. I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes and an 8 in every other pair of running shoes so I ordered an 8. I should have read the q&a and reviews first! My toes were crammed in there all the way up to the edge of the shoe, blisters etc. I had to return that pair and go up one full size to a 9 in order to have adequate room. An 8.5 wide would probably have worked too.

Cushion cushion cushion
Love love love Brooks. I have worn Ghost 4 for 7 yrs.. great shoe! But clearly it was time for a new pair. I’m not a runner but do use the treadmill regularly. After quite a bit of research I decided on the Glycerin 19. Got’m today. Not only do I love the purple color (although quite out of the norm for me) but they felt awesome straight out of the box. Was skeptical re the great cushion I kept reading about because that was not obvious with my hands or even just by trying them on. Took’m to the treadmill for a 2 mile jaunt. The cushion became quite obvious and felt great. About a mile and a half in, however, I started feeling like they were too snug, too narrow. Took my socks off to compare and finished my walk. Gotta say I’m a little worried and hoping that they will give after some wear. They felt much better without socks but not what I am hoping for. Size wise, I’m a 8 1/2 and so many recommendations said to go a 1/2 size up. So I swallowed my girly pride and went for a 9. Glad I did! Am just wondering now if I should have gone for the wide rather than the regular width. I guess time will tell but I am sure hoping that they work. Giving 5 stars cause I really do love them despite my sock problem. All in all I’d say size is the only issue.. definitely go up.. and maybe out!

Great Shoes!
I love my new Brooks Glycerin 19. The cheetah print is beautiful. They stopped making the 19 so I can’t get anymore. They are the best shoes! Great fit and comfort!

Great workout/ running shoes
I definitely love these shoes. Wearing these shoes while running (or even just working out) makes it so much easier. These shoes support your feet immensely plus they give so much cushion. It feels like you are running on clouds the whole time.In regards to shoe sizing, I am usually a size 6.5-7. I went with the 7 based on the reviews. At first they were very tight on my feet. But once they got broken in after a little while they fit perfectly. So I recommend going at least a half size up to what you are used to wearing. But overall and amazing shoe to wear and I highly recommend if you are thinking about getting them!

Remarkably comfortable footbed!
Really like this shoe. It came as a used product...which surprised me, because I didn't recall seeing that in the descriptive info. However, it was virtually like new. VERY comfortable footbed. I had heard so much about the ON running shoes, ordered those and was a bit disappointed that the footbed was not very plush and forgiving. These Brooks are remarkably cushy but very structurally sound. The color was great. The price was good (relative to new...but again, they had been worn/tried on). The sole is GREAT. Laces have enough texture to them that they stay tied!!! Identified the Brooks Glycerin as a good option for my plantar bursitis...and these are fabulous. Did get a blister early on, but breaking them in well. Overall great purchase.

Great for knee and shin pain!
I decided to become a runner at the age of 39 and as a result, I experience a good amount of shin splints and now knee pain during my longer runs. I knew I needed a quality shoe to help balance out my poor form and not-so-great joints. I ordered two different pairs of Brooks: the Levitate Stealth 5 and this Glycerin 19. The Levitate was recommended by the Shoe Finder quiz on the Brooks website and initially I thought I liked the style and fit better, but when I put them on side by side there was no comparison. The Glycerin eliminated all knee and shin pain and provided superior support and stabilization, which I need with my flat feet and uneven gait. I just ran 3 easy miles with them on and my legs and feet feel great; no pain or soreness. Just a side note about fitting: I was told to always go a 1/2 size up when selecting a running shoe. When you try these on they may feel too tight/small at first even at the extra 1/2 size up, but try keeping them on around your house for 15-20 minutes before you decide to send them back. Mine felt like they loosened up (or I got used to the extra support/compression). Either way, I ended up having plenty of room in the shoe. Highly recommend these for anyone with pain during walking/running.
