A good valve for this part
When things cause a worn out/dead old school valve, this Idle Air Control Valve is easily to order! Remove the old valve, clean out the inside corrosion of the throttle "tube" housing & then just installed the new valve. Once fired up, you should be able to test the new valve & engine performance throttle as needed! This is a good Formula Auto Parts IAV10 Idle Air Control Valve & should be a long time with no issues!
