Please NEVER buy this. I don’t care if you’re a beginner or a pro this is total garbage. It’s not actually auto darkening. It’s light until you strike an arc and then it stays dark no matter what you do. You can remove and reinstall batteries, cover and then uncover the lense. I’ve had two and they both got atuck on dark and stayed there. This product is a bad joke from a terrible company. Don’t waste your money. Buy esab Miller or Lincoln and stay away from these cheap Chinese brands. The true blue cote is BS also. I can see better out of a non auto pancake than I can on any setting with this piece of trash.
