4MCrystal Growing Kit, Grow Your Own Crystals, A Fun Sparkling Chemistry Experiment Kit

I purchased the above Crystal Growing Kit order No 204 -4441346 - 8810755 off Amazon UK from MMP Living to do with my Granddaughter whom I supervised throughout the growing process following the instructions to the letter. The item was prepared and left in our warm dining room to grow. I as the buyer and my Granddaughter were both extremely disappointed with the results we obtained from this item. She decided she preferred a light blue crystal for her effort, and yes we had an encouraging start the crystals started to solidify and form a rectangular shape, then stopped, leaving just a light blue rectangular shaped 'lump'. I don't know if this is what were, were, due to expect, but the results were very disappointing to say the least and not at all like the picture describing the crystal on the box. I realise that no two are probably the same but ours was beyond a joke. We Expected more ! iI wouldn't recommend this product to anyone results so disappointing. Especially at a cost of £12.86p delivered.

Just a warning to other people buying this that the box I received had all the labelling etc. in Polish and not English. Was intended as a present so didn't open to find out if there were any English instructions inside. Probably fine if you just want to do the experiment, but not necessarily suitable as a gift.

Its ok not as good as advertised , They only give you enough to make ONE crystal even though they add a few different crystal mixes they only provide enough activating agent to make one which is a bit disappointing and naughty as its false adverting when you can make all those great crystals as a 9yr old child only to discover that you only have enough to make one and the one that you are in the process of making hasnt come out so good , still waiting for it to form and started it Christmas day . Very disappointing

Bought for my 9 year old nephew who is into fossils, rocks and minerals. Honestly wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.The crystal it produced was huge (filled palm of my hand) with many other quartz shaped crystals coming off of it. Much like the picture. Very impressed for the price.

Overall ok. Before starting I read the instructions twice and picked a shelf in a warm room in my house. The picture is of 5 days growth, so I am happy the results for the price. It does say the crystal will grow according to conditions, so I plan to do small experiments around my house under different temperature conditions. I can only say take care when setting up the solution and be patient in the growing period.
