Slowly fading hyperpigmentation
I like how smoothly it exfoliates the dry skin first. I’ve noticed slow fading of the hyperpigmented area. Slow but effective. I paired it with the hyperpigmentation lightening cream.

Too many fragance and allergens, important ingredients from the description are missing
Very disappointing... not only that the product contains a lot of fragrance (parfum is even listed before retinal) and essential oils, which are known allergens. Some of the great ingredients described here such as Licorice, Niacinamide and L-Lactic are also completely missing from the real inci list on the product. Precisely because it is supposed to be a serum especially for skin of color, I don't understand why they are working with such potentially irritating ingredients as linalool, geraniol, citronellol... Skin of color in particular is very sensitive to irritating ingredients and hyperpigmentation is even more triggered. It will remain an eternal mystery to me why so many people - especially formulators from the medical field - still work with these ingredients. I expect the product to work, not to smell good. But it seems that the customers still expect this and prefer to accept potential irritations in return (these can also appear over time). Because apart from the smell, these ingredients have no meaningful effect in such a product. I also think it's a pity that the complete ingredients are not listed here, so that you only recognize them when you have received it. Although I have to say that not even the manufacturer himself lists the complete ingredients on his website. Also, the actual ingredients of the advanced formula are not even up to date on the Pharmaclinix page. I contacted Pharmaclinix directly to clarify the discrepancy between the article description on their website and the ingredients actually shown on the product, unfortunately I never received a response. Not very serious. I will send the serum back, because especially when the ingredients are brought deeper into the skin due to the acids it contains, I don't want to take the risk of an allergic reaction. It's a shame, because I really expected the serum to be effective because of the described professional strength actives.

Not effective
Too expensive, and not much in it for the price. Over priced ineffective product.
