Works as expected.
I am glad that I purchased the 3/8" version to ensure it would fit over my 2/0 AWG cables, if not it would have probably been too snug to maneuver over the crimp connection and heat shrink. I used these on several 2/0 AWG cables some with 5/16" ends and a couple with 3/8" ends. For connections directly to the battery terminal it provides nearly complete coverage, for many of my other locations it can only cover a portion (as expected). The product was flexible enough to maneuver as needed with some patients and force required to get it back over the end of the heat shrink when moving into the final position. The my initial perception of the product is better than expected and I appreciate the added protection against shorts that it provides even in the less than ideal locations.

nice jackets, wish the bolt opening was a touch bigger
nice terminal jackets, nice and rubbery, not too hard to get on. Just wish the opening that fits over your mounting bolt was a little bigger. I've crammed both of mine on, and they're kinda on, but even 10-15% bigger opening would have helped. I guess they're just not meant to fit some fittings. The small size also keeps them from fitting nicely if your mounting isn't 90 deg or the cable must bend away from the mounting right away. Just give me a little more diameter and a little more rubber. Overall I'm fairly happy with them, I've just got a tough situation

Fits 2/0
Fits my 2/0 ground to block cables, definitely a snug fit. Had to let them sit in full sun a lil while to soften them up enough to fit over heat shrink (bought these after cable assemblies were made), but would have fit bare wire easily prior to terminal crimp/solder.Idea is that these will keep them clean and unaffected (or least less affected) by all the airborne crap in the vicinity. Hopefully they dont just trap crap under them... Time will tell.

No wire size dimensions given for wire end of boot
These terminal covers seemed nice enough, but the wire size they would fit would be more like 5/8" diameter, not the 2AWG I was planning to use. Only stud size was given in the item's specs. Definitely not what you'd want for an alternator or similar application.

Flexible and easy to use
These worked perfectly for the inverter upgrade in my Nissan Xterra. They are soft, and can stretch over the input studs easily. As soft as they are, they are pretty durable in that they didn’t tear when I installed them. I don’t know if I’d use them in an under hood environment, but for this application, they worked nicely.

not as robust as i would have liked
they tore easier than expected. Used them on a 2/0 wire (which fit fine) over a blue sea ml-acr 7622 isolator stud and they were really hard to get over the stud and look good. I had to remove the cover once and add a line to the ml-acr and the next time i tried to cover the terminal with the boot it ripped, not super stoked but most of it is still covering it so whatever...

Used to cover alternator cable
Nice to have products available on line you can't find in a brick and mortar store to help repair vehicles. Repaired a shoddy job done by a prior shop with this to cover alternator from arcing.

Fit for purpose
These fitted nicely over some through bulkhead studs. The delivery was a bit tardy but that is probably to be expected given they had to come from the States and it is a busy time of year.
