Burton Men's Covert Snow Pant
D**.
Plenty of pockets, size is EXACT fit.
The fit seems to be the hot-button issue on these. I am a consistent 32 waist size so let me tell you that the mediums (32-34) will be EXACTLY that size. They will fit like normal pants will. This may be great for some and not so great for others. Remember, these are only a shell pant, there is new thick fleece lining like some pants. So if you are someone who wants to be extremely warm and wear a pair of pants underneath your shell GO A SIZE UP. I'm not kidding, there's a strap on the inside of the waist band that will tighten more than enough if you feel like you have too much room after the size up. For me, I'm comfortable enough wearing long underwear under a shell and calling it a day, so the Mediums fit exactly as expected.TL;DR - Size up if you want to wear warm clothes underneat, exact size if you're comfortable with the shell and underwear. As far as the pants themselves, I haven't been able to test them that much yet, but I do appreciate the double latching system on almost all the pockets. There is a latch (button or velcro) on the outside, and then velcro on the inside of the pockets as well. NOTHING should fall out of your pockets EVER. The top side pockets, where you normally put your hands, are zippered but are the exception to the two latch system. This is understandable though for ease of access. The key/lift ticket/whatever strap on the inside of the left pocket is an excellent touch.Favorite part though? The ball cooling system.... No joke, there's a patented "Test-I-Cool" zipper on the crotch that opens the area up to about an inch wide of breathable mesh. Test-I-Cool... I can't make this up, good job, Burton xD

Great quality. Great price.
Haven’t been in the snow yet, but my fiancé loves this brand and trusts it. The pants came in and felt great, true to size, and comfortable for him to move around in. He loved the color, and is excited to make his debut in these on the slopes this winter! We live in Texas and in an apartment so we can only keep a limited amount of snow clothing, so we only want quality items. If you are like us and want the most quality for the best price, these are your pants!

Dry, Warm, and Comfortable
I purchased a Medium and they fit great with the Velcro adjustable waist strap and I didn't need a belt. I am 5'11" tall, with a 33-34" waist. I have enough room in the waist and seat to be comfortable snowboarding and I wear them with the UA Base layer 4.0 on real cold days. Plenty of mobility, I never felt constrained while riding. I roll around in the snow a bit and these kept me warm and dry. They have a clip on the gaiters to hold them to my boots. Windproof kept me warm on the lifts, and I used the vents when I needed to breathe a little.

Excellent low cost ski pants
Excellent low cost ski pants.Great style and closer fit (not tight) like jeans only waterproof and windproof.I purchased the uninsulated version and wear a basic base layer under and I am plenty warm and dry. - I think there is an insulated version and not sure what that does to the fit. I wear a 32 inseam jeans and the length on these is perfect and could probably do fine for up to a 34 inseam.Only worn 3 times but seem durable.

L vs XL
I tried the Large 1st and it fit perfect like pants, but that was too small for me to be active in, so I went for the XL and that provides the extra room I wanted to squat lower and move around, plus add some impact shorts underneath. The crotch seems to me to be the restrictive area in fitting them. I am 5'11" 175lb and wear a 33/34w x 32/34L in most stuff comfortably. The Large gave me about 1 or 2 fingers that I could insert in the waist and they ride low on your waist, on the hips more than above them. The XL was much bigger I feel in the waist, but didn't seem to add more length. The butt is much fuller too on the XL. The benefit though for me is the larger crotch area and having the pants ride a little higher than right on my hips. The Large fits better and looks more tailored if you are more style oriented, but for me, if I am going to be moving around aggressively they are too constrictive in the crotch in the Large if you move to more than a 1/3 to a 1/2 squat.

Water Resistant, Not Waterproof.
Just got back from a session at the mountain, it was snowing pretty hard, I had on Under Armor base layers and the Burton Jacket, Gloves, and Pants on. It was around 30 degrees outside, and the snow melted quite quickly, the fabric definitely showed that it was getting soaked, the inner lining never broke though so all I had was the wet water feeling. Overall this is a good product, its not designed for heavy rain or any sort but light snow and powder days they work pretty well, I got mine tailored because im 5'2". The "living lining" works i think and with the base layers I had on I stayed pretty warm. I would def buy again if I happen to break them but just be aware on heavy snow/rain you will be soaked. Great Product!

Nice snowboard pants.
Good quality, good fit. I am pretty average size 5'10", with a 34" waist, 30" inseam, and about 190 lbs. Fit for a large was snug around the waist but not too tight and the length was just about perfect where they were slightly baggy around my boot but not so baggy that they look weird, probably about 2-3 inches inches to spare on the length.

Slim, regular or relaxed fit?
Be aware that regular fit is pretty tight in the crotch area. When ordering, I was unaware that there were three different fits that they make the sizes in. The regular fit is okay, but I would have prefered the relaxed fit IF it was an option during checkout. Since I am so far north in BC Canada, I think that I'll just deal with the more snug fit than return them because our snowiest month is here now and I need pants now. So if you're getting these for snowboarding then make sure you find ones that are relaxed fit. Don't repeat my mistake. Better yet, try clothes on before you buy them. Cheers
