Totally compatible with my 20 year old craftsman opener. Great it came in white so barely notice it on the white trim of my house. Easy to program. Highly recommend.

It took only a few minutes to replace the 30 yo old transmitter with this new one. Binding to my Craftsman 1/2 hp opener, (red button) worked the first try. I just hope the internal electrical contacts last another 20 years. I would recommend for $15 replacement.

A couple worked ok. Some took many times to program. Most didnt work at all.

Good price, good value, works well once programed. Followed the instructions and couldn't get it to program, went back to the internet and looked for more information as there is a step to find your garage door opener brand and model. Kept thinking possibly had picked the wrong one and that was why it wouldn't program. I had the right one to start with! After 45 minutes of cussing and pushing buttons was ready to send it back, decided to start over and try once more after going back to the beginning. Reset the opener, entered the original brand code and it worked. YOU MUST HUSTLE AND DO THE PROGRAMMING STEPS VERY QUICKLY OR IT WON'T SWALLOW THEM! After doing the programming steps so many times I was getting much faster at doing them, speed is the key factor. If you wait too long (a few seconds) between steps it times out and won't program. Just my experience. Never tried tech support so didn't rate that.

Was easy to install and works great for the shop. I can access my shop without a kep now and it comes in handy for me. I would order again if I had another shop.

My new opener did not come with a key pad & I needed one so neighbor could enter & leave as easily as possible.

Have not been able to get it to sync with my garage door opener.
