Better than expected.
I just got this today and I’m pretty impressed right off the bat. I didn’t have my hopes very high because my other small vices needed to be fixed up a bit, which isn’t a problem if you know that when you order it. But this is actually better than I expected. The piece that locks it into position (stops it from rotating) doesn’t lock very well though. I also don’t like that the handle locks into position in the working area of the jaws. Big pieces will bump into it. These aren’t a problem for me for though. I also thought the quick release would cause problems but it’s a feature that I quickly changed my mind on and now I wouldn’t order one without. The jaw covers are better than expected too, I thought I was just going to end up tossing them but they actually work well and worth spending the couple bucks extra for. I wish I would have bought this sooner. I will update this post immediately if I change my mind on recommending it.

Great small Vise
Purchased this vise to have something to slip on to my portable workbench when needed. I was taking on a project to re-grip my golf clubs, and that was the final straw to make this purchase, as I'd had other times where it would've been helpful to have a small vise around. This worked great to hold my clubs (with the use of a shaft clamp so I didn't damage them) while I cut and pulled and pushed to get old grips off and new ones on. Exactly what I needed, and it is small enough for me to take off of my portable workbench and put away, and simple enough to pull out and mount. It was solid the whole way.The only nitpicks were that the little protective sleeves that were provided to sit on the vise arms didn't fit too solidly/neatly.. they were prone to slide off more than I would've wanted, but it was not a huge deal.. also the locking mechanism that locked the vise from rotating wasn't always super secure, but I had to pull/push pretty hard to cause it to rotate un-necessarily.Overall very very happy with this purchase. I got through my club re-gripping thanks to this, and I know I will have plenty of future use for it.

Great Value
This little vise is perfect for a desk setup for finer meticulous work. It comes with decent rubber jaw covers for any fragile items you’d need to clamp down on, the anvil back is nice too for small hammer work.Overall this thing is sturdy, the clamp is very secure and I trust it not to move. The swivel feature is really nice as well. For the money, it’s perfect, it’s not as smooth as a larger vice but it’s also not $200-300 so don’t expect it to be buttery smooth.

It’s a small vise
Yes it’s a small vise. How ever it’s works great. I use it in my ammunition reloading. Comes with a set of soft jaws and a pair of gloves. Others have said the swivel lock does not work. I have not had that issue. If you need a small clamp on vise. It’s a good deal for the price.

Nylon covers are not great!
The vice is sturdy and hold anything you put in it. The only drawbacks are the Nylon covers for the clamp and the vice head. They easily fall off and are a nuisance. A better way of attaching them would be helpful or maybe make them form fitting or sticky.

Portable with awesome grip for hobbyists
The media could not be loaded. A permanent vise mount doesn’t work in many cases, but portable vises often don’t have the stability for high torque jobs, a problem solved by this model. With the entire lower end of the vise designed to grip the bench, there is no wiggle like with vises that only use c type clamps. Whether hack sawing channel or a fishing rod butt, the vise is stable and big enough for most jobs. And, if no need for portability then just bolt it down. Note above it would not work with this bench with the portable clamp until an extended piece of plank was added. Works great like this.

A very decent starter vise
The only reason I didn’t give this vise a five out of five is that the vise edges don’t Aline up as closely as I’d like. The swivel works great. The vise is sturdy and the size I was looking for. Plastic edges were supplied to protect metal in the vise from the poorly matched edges. For my needs and purse at this point in time, this vise will work well.

My wife loves her new tool :)
My crafty woman loves this thing lolThis vise was absolutely perfect addition to my wife's crafting desk. No more cursing when she's cutting little wood sticks :) And it pivots, and it's sturdy as heck; once screwed in the clamping power is great. The package was beat to heck when we got it (I blame the fact that it's a heavy metal object loose in a cardboard box, not the Seller. the vise should be trapped in packing, then put in a box. Like a printer.)Solid, versatile, compact yet powerful. And the price was right. I don't even wanna know how much they wanted for this thing at the box store.Very pleased with my purchase.
