Great tool
Love that it's magnetic and an just be put right on the chimney. It's easy to read. Like that it shows you the recommended range.

It works great
This is a replacement. I don't use it for accuracy. I just open or close the flue based on its readings.

Very easy to read and then adjust the damper to optimal heat range.

Slides down pipe
Looks good and thermometer seems to work well. But, it slowly slides down the (single wall) stovepipe; the magnet isn’t strong enough. It would be great but for that issue. It had a centre hole to affix into the pipe with a screw. But, I don’t want to punch a hole in the pipe, that’s why I got the magnetic…. May have to return it.
