Nice to the touch and simple design. Great to be able to do either two or four pieces, with different timer settings.As expected it feels sturdy and is easy to wipe down for cleaning.

Great toaster and matched my kitchen perfectly.

We had the older model of this toaster (18790) and it worked well for several years and was in constant use during breakfast service. It was the longest lasting toaster we’d ever had. It suddenly gave up on us last week when we realised it was tripping the electrics in the kitchen. As it was so good, we wanted the same. The new model is exactly the same (just a different colour at the sides, which isn’t cool to touch).I was surprised at the packaging. The toaster was wrapped in a flimsy tissue, stuck at joins with white tape, and placed in a plastic bag. The whole thing had two card protectors either side and had been placed in the RH box. No protection on top. This box had then been placed in an Amazon box with a few of those bubble strips filled with air. When I removed these I came across a couple of seperate small items I’d ordered as well. There was no delivery note and I wasn’t aware these were in the boxI’ve tried the toaster out and it’s exactly the same as my old one- the warm button is very useful. I did as instructed and set it to its highest setting to ‘cure’ the elements.On first use today, the number 4 setting takes two and half minutes which is fine. At number 7 it’s 4 minutes, but we wouldn’t use that setting too often.Very pleased with it and it’s as expected. BUT the flimsy packaging is a worry, it looked like someone had wrapped it up at home. Although no external damage I’d have expected protective packaging to surround the toaster, not just at the sides. I’m checking with RH about their packaging as this didn’t seem sufficient.Will update once we’ve used it a while.
