Upgraded from laptop and never looking back
I had a pretty good gaming laptop that i've been using for a few years but it was about time for an upgrade. I almost got another laptop since I prefer to sit on the couch and game and I'm a pretty casual gamer and mainly play ffxiv or the sims. But the more I looked at peoples gaming set ups the more I wanted one. I spent close to a week researching computers and trying to find the best one with the best reviews within my budget and this one was it. I absolutely love it so far. It is so much better than my laptop and I'm using 2 monitors and I honestly could not go back to a laptop ever. I haven't even turned my laptop on since setting up my pc. I'm not big on the rgb stuff but the blue and purple is pretty so I leave it on that, I love how there are so many different options. And I was planning on buying a mechanical keyboard and a gaming mouse so I was pleasantly surprised that my pc already came with both so I didn't have to spend extra days researching the best keyboard and mouse to buy. Also, I don't know much about computers since I usually just get laptops that are already set up so I was a little worried but everything came together and I had no problems whatsoever setting everything up. So far I have no complaints and I love everything about my new computer.

Good starter gaming pc but.....
This is a great starter gaming pc! The bad thing about this pc is that after 4 months my pc is now making a high pitched ring noise and I still have 300+GB of memory left. Skytech needs to address this problem as I can hear it through my headset when gaming. I tried cleaning everything out and seeing if that was the issue and I'm still dealing with it. When you try to contact Skytech they have an appointment based system so with mine it was a week out and I can't stand the ringing any more.

Machine was DOA. Simple fix. Tech support took forever.
Starting a review now and will update as this progresses. This was purchased for a teenager who is a gaming enthusiast. He’s been in serious need of a new machine for remote school and gaming so when I surprised him by telling him I purchased one, he was over the moon. Well guess what? Machine is DOA. Trust me, the members of this household are no slouches when it comes to computers, so when I say it’s DOA, I am serious. I’ve been on hold for tech support for half an hour and counting. I’ll keep you posted...UPDATE: Customer support took 2 hrs to call me back and told me to use their online tech support chat. After 2 hours of slowly ruling out one problem after another, the problem was found to be a misconnected power cable inside the case. Once the cabling problem was corrected, the machine booted up just fine.

Great turnkey system
Nice turnkey system. Easy setup. Runs my gaming at full graphics settings and holds steady in the 50-60 fps range ...nice and smooth. Had mine for several months...runs perfect.

Good value for the money
Due to the sky high prices for video cards building a PC would have been more expensive than what I was to get with this pre assembled tower. No regrets everything works as should

Skytech is a scam!! You can do better
Skytech is an atrociously run company with lousy quality of their products and even worse tech support!! I’m going to bullet point this to make it more clear and concise.-original product ordered arrived broken. Had to return and wait a few weeks for replacement.-computer started randomly restarting later that year. I tried for many hours trying to fix on my own and even took it in to a local place, where the problem couldn’t be pinpointed.-send in to Skytech where it takes them OVER 2 MONTHS TO EVEN LOOK AT IT. After 2 months of sitting in their warehouse, they run a few basic diagnostic tests and ship it back as all good!!! The return email literally says that they did nothing to fix it.-so it arrives back broken and finally get connected with Skytech’s tech support and they temporarily put a bandaid on the problem.-Computer breaks again (same issue) and tech support says my favorite quote of all time even tho my product is under warranty. He said, “you know, you’re lucky they’re still working with you” (????? It’s under warranty)-tech support gaslights me into believing the issue is the GPU. After sending in my GPU Two times (because he said the first one they sent me was broken lmao). This adds another month to my wait time (we are at 4 months now)-finally, they’re like send in the whole computer again and THEY ACT LIKE THE COMPUTER WORKS FINE WHEN IT GETS THERE. They swap out a part and say it’s being shipped back.-Wrong again now they lost the computer somewhere. Almost 3 weeks later and it shows back up out of the blue, sent with no expedited shipping.AT THE TIME OF WRITING THIS I STILL DONT HAVE MY COMPUTER BACK AND WORKING.Since December of last year, I have been able to use it for about 1 month of time. I have had to pay hundreds of dollars in shipping fees only to get treated like crap. Skytech claims that because of Covid, they are understaffed and can treat their customers horribly. They have no problem not telling you the truth, and will do anything to take more money from you.Reflecting on my experience, I would highly recommend for a new PC buyer to build a pc themselves or have someone local help them do it. Do not buy a prebuilt, and especially do not buy ANYTHING from Skytech since you’re pretty much on your own after that.
