It took me a while to apply this properly. At first I only used water and a heat gun. I ended up damaging and stretching the wrap in trying to expel the bubbles. I then used the back up and used soapy water and a squeegee. That was the way to go. One thing to mention, I had to cut the bottom part of the cut out (around 0.25inch)because it was slightly to large and would hang. Overall I am very happy with the quality and look of the product.

So you’re looking online to find a taillight tint kit that’s easy to install and looks good and you find this. You install it and ask yourself how you feel about it. Does it look good? Sure. Is the material cheap thin material? Yea. Does it get the job done well enough? Definitely. Wet or dry install? Either or but you’ll get better results using a wet install. Are there better options out there? Absolutely. Is it expensive for what it is? Yep. Should you give it a shot? Go right ahead.

The media could not be loaded.  I really enjoyed this product, you definitely do need a heat gun however, or a blow dryer. The headlights are quite difficult to do. However, everything else is pretty straightforward and easy. Once you do the backside, and watch the YouTube videos, everything is pretty much the same. For the headlights i recommend using a blow dryer or heat gun bc it’s hard to make sure it stays down onto the headlight. Overall i rate it a 10/10 product but rate it a 6/10 on difficulty.

The film was too big and covered the red of the taillights. So I removed the film to find out that the film "etched" the lights. Sorta like the hazy look you see on headlights. So now I have damaged lights that I will attempt to buff away. I would not recommend this product. I bought another Bogar item before, and had no issues. Maybe a one off here.

I did not care for the look of the headlight, and the rear tail light covers showed too many imperfections for my liking (could be due to my own inexperience installing tints). I bought a different dry application tint to my tail lights with the same shape as these and the installation was 10000x easier and the tint looks great with no bubbles or imperfections.

When you want that cool dark tint look without having to pay for a professional these will do the trick. They look pretty great but they can be a pain to line up precisely and to get all of the bubbles out during application. A couple of the rear light decals are a little short but it isn't really noticeable unless you look closely. You can buy the full kit or individual lights.Updated: Great customer service. They were quick to offer replacements for the pieces that arrived short without any hassle.

The media could not be loaded.  This tint get didn’t need much customizing, it was pretty spot on. So I really liked that about this product. It aligned perfectly with the tail light as you can see in the video. If you’re looking for a tint kit for your Model 3 that’s easy to install, and fits like a glove this is the product for you!

You get what you pay for. The fitment is passable for Model Y( (I'm aware it's meant for the 3) but when installing I noticed the pairs weren't cut the same so each one fitted slightly differently but with some adjustment, you can get it to mirror the other. For the price, it's pretty good and will get the look you want but if you're not familiar with installing vinyl, you'll have a stressful time installing it. I wouldn't call myself a veteran in vinyl but I've installed some small ppf to my car and watched plenty of videos on wrapping advice so I'm somewhat of an expert.Overall, it's not an easy install and the fitment won't be perfect but with some work, you can get it done. Especiallly for the price you can't ask for more.

In the item description it says you get two full sets of decals in case of mistakes or gift one to a tesla friend. This is false and I have been trying for a resolution to this problem for more than 2 weeks. Edit: once we got communication going service was prompt and refund came quick.
