Worked good for a few months, 8-10 minute run time on high. Started declining and after about 6-8 months, no longer would even charge.Contacted the seller, they were VERY helpful and took care of the issue. Sent me a replacement battery, thank you MCWGOLD! Sometimes items don't perform as they should, it happens. Glad to see the seller step up and resolve it.

Easy to install, too soon to know battery life.

The media could not be loaded.  Don't buy from this buyer the batteries he's selling are faulty. I have maybe used my Dyson a handful of times and as you can see from my video how quickly the battery dies, very frustrating. On the site is says NEW don't trust that. And only offer a 30 warranty. Just trying to help you not waste your money like I did.

It can be hard to get a genuine Dyson battery and if you find one they cost a lot. We have the V7 Car & Boat handheld which has been discontinued. This battery had a much longer charge life compared to the original battery. It worked like a champ until a few days ago. It held up well under moderate use for ten months and suddenly stopped taking a charge. Update: It seems my charger quit working and not the battery. It charged up fine using the Dyson 12v charger.

My Dyson battery went out and I needed a replacement battery but didn’t want to spend so much money. So I checked on Amazon and ended up going with this battery replacement and I am extremely satisfied at the battery life. I can use my vacuum much longer without a recharge. My only complaint is that I had a battery less than a year and it stopped working however, the company is wonderful and stands behind its products. I contacted the company regarding my issue and within a week I received a brand new battery. My vacuum is up and running again and I couldn’t be happier with how promptly the company handled my issue.

Ordered, decent reviews. Installation was not complicated. Worked very will for 18 mons with usage less than 30 mins per week. Very disappointed on its longevity. Would not purchase again.

Update:The battery died after about 5 months. It just quit while using and would not accept a charge - completely dead. So I ordered the lowest cost replacement battery I could find as I had no way of knowing if the problem was the battery or my vac. My vac now works with the new battery. So this one failed after only 5-months. Reducing rating to 2-star.Original review below:My dyson v7 has needed a new battery for quite some time, I had just been living with the short and erratic run-times for a year or so.This replacement battery charged up in ~90 minutes and fit perfectly. Swapping the battery was quick and easy with only 3 small screws. For its first running, I was able to get ~7-9 minutes of runtime on high - which is about what my v7 did when it was new.After use, it charged up in ~2hrs and performs perfectly so far.I am initially giving it 5-stars as it fits perfect and performs about how I recall my d7 did when it was new. If it degrades I will update the rating down the road.

Purchased this D7 a few years ago. The battery life is declining, and I have to change a battery. The replacement battery I bought is very suitable. It is a bit tight when installed, but it works well and has a large capacity.

My dyson was not working after i returned from a trip and found that was battery issue. The official battery replacement is cost too much and found this with lower cost. It fits perfectly on my vacuum and work as good as before.

Product was easy to install and initial runtime of battery has exceeded that of the original battery. As for battery life over time only time will tell. There were no installation instructions supplied which could be a problem for some and should be included.

Fit well, and worked fine even on boost mode.But it did not last as long as the original and now 5 days past the return date it has stopped charging all togetherEdit: got in contact with AmazonAU and they are processing my return with no worries.

My original Dyson battery died after many years. This replacement did a great job, however, has died after 8 months. Bought in April 2023. Not impressed with its longevity.
