I sometimes wonder if he can breathe without a guitar in his arms. 🥰This book is well written and easy to understand; however, let’s get real! Facile à suivre et bien expliqué

The thing I like about this book is it's patient build up, layering one skill on top of another gradually, through small repeatable and moveable exercises. Rather than the approach soem of my other books take "here, learn this song", Tommy's style of teaching, backed by the videos matches my learning style excellently, allowing me to move on at my pace, loop back, or jump ahead depending how I'm feeling each day. I'm now at the stage of learning the three songs in the final chapter, but still using the exercises daily for practice (especially on those pesky barre chords). The back-up videos are also excellent, especially the ability to slow them down.What I feel this book has done now is not to teach me songs, but to equip me with a set of skills that I can use to build on and advance my playing, and to help myself to learn other songs. I'm still very much a beginner, but hopefully one day this strong foundation will help me play some of my old favourites.

Das Buch ist für jeden Menschen, der sich mit der Fingerstyletechnik von TE auseinander setzen möchte ein guter Einstieg. Ein Kapitel baut auf dem anderen auf. Was ich besonders wichtig finde §ind die immer wieder genannten Tatsachen, das es Zeit und Geduld braucht. Ich bin selbst kein Anfänger, weder im Akustik - noch im E Gitarrenbereich, aber gerade die ersten Schritte in diesem Buch, bei denen wirklich auf simple Muster zurück gegriffen wird, haben mich weiter gebracht. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, mit dem Buch zu arbeiten. Dann kann man als nächsten Schritt die Transskritionen von TE angehen, ohne zu verzweifeln.
