Phone Jack Splitter, In-line DSL Splitter Filter for Phone Line (1 Pcs)

I plugged this splitter into the wall phone jack. Then i inserted the phone jack from my new Panasonic base phone into one opening and i also inserted the phone jack coming out of my modem (we have phone service through Comcast) into the other opening of the splitter. Voila! the base phone and answering system now work and the other three phones in the house which are plugged in to electrical outlets also work. before buying this, i had the electrician and the Comcast repairman out to figure out why the phone system wasn't working.

Needed to replace ours as our old one was damaged when moving some items in our living room. This works great as I can still have my DSL internet and a landline and they do not knock each other off line

Used this product to split to gain land line and internet capabilities with Century Link 4000LZ. Connects as usual but internet cuts off when phone signal comes in and interference was significantly added. Century Link technician replaced this unit with one from their truck which looks identical to this one, and, everything is operational--no static, both land line and internet can operate at the same time. There are many phone jack splitters to choose from and they all look alike, so I do not know which one will work best for every set up. The only thing that cannot be improved is the super-slow internet speeds that Century Link is known for.

I thought the item was well made. It installed very easily. I have Centurylink High Speed Internet. It uses two strands of my phone line to give me extra speed. For some reason this did not pickup the second strand. I am returning it for a refund.
