ChacoWomen's Z/Cloud 2 Sandal

It took a few days for me to figure out the fit and adjustments. I wasn’t initially impressed and considered sending them back. I’m so happy I didn’t. Once I got the hang of them, everything changed. I love these shoes. They are comfortable, adjustable, and durable. Very happy with my purchase. I wish I would have had these when I was pregnant and couldn’t wear any of my shoes.

Daughter loves these. Great quality. She normally wears a 7 or 8 shoe, but got 9s in this sandal because her size 8 chacos just fit. They wouldn't if her feet grew at all. Highly recommend!

Top strap is too long and drags on ground. No way to shorten?

I did a lot of research before buying these Chacos. I keep hearing how awesome they are, and how they support your feet and last forever, etc. I settled on the Zcloud model because they supposedly fit true to size and the sole is cushioned. Here are my thoughts after having worn them daily for two weeks:* The straps are fairly easy to adjust. If the directions on the box don't make sense, there are plenty of youtube videos to help you.*I wish I could have tried a wide option. For some reason, they don't make wide in women's 11 (Why, I have no idea. Chaco, can you help me out here? Doesn't seem fair), and I didn't like the strap options in the men's version so I stuck with a regular width. I do not normally wear a wide, but right at the beginning of my heel where the rear strap comes out of the shoe is somewhat tight.*The length is right on - no problem there.*I found that it took me almost a week to be able to comfortably wear the shoes all day. The Zcloud soles are apparently softer than the regular Chaco soles, but don't expect super cushiony. That being said, once I did get used to them, they are now the sandals I automatically reach for in the morning.*Now that I have the straps adjusted to my feet, they mostly stay put and I don't have to spend a lot of time adjusting them. I was a little worried about this, as I have a pair of Zongs from a few years ago that I stopped wearing because they continually tightened around my big toe and I was always having to stop and readjust them. These are great in that aspect - no frequent adjustments required.Overall, I'm happy with these shoes. They are not exactly what I expected and they do take some getting used to, but they are comfortable and offer good support. I'd be thrilled if Chaco would recognize the need for an 11 wide in women for those of us who do not wish to order men's shoes.UPDATE: Three years and three more pairs of Chacos later, I am in love with this brand. I sent the original pair back to the company to have them restrung and they look like new shoes. The only thing that bothers me is that, except for the pair I had restrung and specially requested longer straps, the buckle sits right on my instep, which I don't find particularly attractive. It doesn't affect the comfort of the shoe either way.

I suffer from a severe case of plantar fasciitis, along with a short Achilles tendon, so being on my feet for long periods of time is torture for me. I own an older pair of Classic Z/2 chacos and love the support they give my feet, but i can’t wear them if im going to be on my feet for longer periods of time because the surface is too rough on the bottoms of my feet and rubs them raw.This new style of Cloud chacos has solved this problem. These have a softer surface that no longer rubs my feet raw and are so much more comfortable to wear all day. I had a Disneyland trip coming up and got these two weeks before I was to leave so my feet could get used to them. I was not at all looking forward to being on my feet for 4 days in a row at Disneyland. My Cloud Chacos were the only footwear I brought with me, and I cannot believe how huge of a difference it made to wear them everyday that I was in the park. My Cloud Chacos made what would have been an almost unbearable experience into an extraordinary one. For the first time in many years, I was able to remain on my feet the whole day, and was even able to push my father’s wheelchair without my feet suffering from excruciating pain. I am so grateful that I discovered these new Cloud Chacos, and am so thankful I was able to enjoy this awesome adventure with my parents without being ruined by the pain I would have likely experienced otherwise.I now have a reliable shoe to wear everyday and wish I could afford to by another pair to designate as my house shoes when I am on my feet at home.The buckle strap was extra long so I had to shorten it myself, but no biggie for my since I have a nice sewing machine.The only thing that would improve these new Cloud Chacos is to have them in a slightly wider width. My older Chacos are the wide width but are a little too wide and the Regular is slightly too narrow so something in between a regular width and wide width would be perfect.

Fit great and had the same issue as others where it said mens at cart page but they did indeed show up as womens. Look up how to adjust the strap and pull them to your perfect shape, many people think they don’t fit but never try adjusting them

So I decided to order this sandals because I wanted something light and open for a universal trip you gonna have, I was so excited until I tried them, I never thought I had wide feet until I had these on, the straps on the side were killing me and I am only wear them for 5 mins, they made my feet so red and hurt to have them on, now I’m not sure if upsizing will help. I’m a size 7 in all of my shoes and a size 7 is what I got. They felt very comfortable and good support it’s the straps in the size that didn’t help for me. Maybe if the side straps were ajustable like the heel one.You can see on the first pic it was literally squishy my side feet and the second pic how red they are.

I liked the colors. What I don’t like is the toe area is tight both for big toe and the baby toe. Will be returning them.
