Yale P-89-CH-CH-60 Deadlocking Nightlatch, 60 mm Backset, Chrome Finish, High Security, with Automatic Deadlock & YES-CYLPULL-CH Essentials Rim Cylinder Door Pull

When attaching the lock to the back plate it seems as if the back plate or the lock were out of shape. Lining up the upper fixing the the lock would pop off the lower hook and vice versa… struggled for ages had someone else try but no luck…Had thrown packaging away so couldn’t return. Binned it

The lock itself is great, but the cylinder face wouldn't fit inside the ring of the door pull. Yale were no help and just advised me to return the item. Replacement was marginally better, but it still wouldn't fit well enough. I also tried a replacement door pull - same issue. My old yale cylinder did fit the door pull so I had to spray that silver (was replacing like-for-like lock, gold to chrome) and make do. Disappointing.

Both Yale Nightlatch and Yale Door pull handle are nice products however the Nightlatch cylinder will not fit into the Yale Pull handle hole. The cylinder is slightly larger than the hold in the pull handle therefore will not sit into it fully. As you can see in the picture, the left side sits in, but right side sticks out. The Pull handle will only fit YALE ESSENTIAL CYLINDERS which are sold separately.

Nice quality, fair price but it is true that many other people have reported regarding this item that that the hole in the Pull Plate will not fit the lock so you will need to do a bit of work to get it to fit, not difficult but shouldn’t be sold like this, the parts should fit
