Really pleased
I was impressed with the build quality and construction given it was so light. After a long power outage there was the opportunity to recharge my power station. Unfortunately, the aftermath of the storm left a very dull and dismal day. There was the panic the panels may not work. A couple of days later there was some intermittent sunshine so I was able to test again. The panels kicked in whether the sun was obscured or out. A good charge rate obtained. Very pleased all round. After my initial panic that the panels may not work I contacted the seller. Their response was fantastic, and it was excellent to be able to feedback positively once they were working.

Works as Expected
Bought this to use an Allpowers power station. As expected the power station is limited to 60w charging, but deliberately bought an over rated solar panel so that I would be able to get a decent charge accounting for the weather in the UK. This is definitely the case. on a bright day in late spring I am getting the full 60 charge on the power station, and was even getting about 10w from the ambient light in the shade of the house. I see no reason not to fully endorse this solar panel. Especially in the light of the great customer service I got when I bought the power station of the same brand.

Power output is good
Pretty good. Getting 43W -inside- a living room window, after 5pm, second week of July, 55° North. Very sunny day, virtually no cloud. The panel doesn't really look like a solar panel, not glass fronted. It folds up quite nicely. I haven't tried to prop it up outside, but will probably place it inside the van windscreen for charging my Allpowers P600. It gets very hot in the sun.

Worth the money? - I certainly think so.
Received early afternoon Saturday 8th August 2026. This is a 100w unit and I have compared it directly to my Bluetti 100W unit and these are my findings: Note: I used a Bluetti AC50B to start the test and then switched to an AC2A. • There is a noticeable build quality difference, the Bluetti is more robust with a really nice carry handle. • The angle stands on the Bluetti are more stable and have angular position guides - the Solax is rather flimsy. • The Solax SE100 is slightly smaller all round and therefore not as weighty thus easier to carry although the "carry handle" is more of a finger grip which covers where the cables come out from the panel. • The MC4 connectors on the Solax needed a little persuasion to connect snugly. • The cables for both the Solax & Bluetti seemed to be identical regarding their outside diameter so wattage carrying capacity is not a concern - and the supplied MC4 connectors terminated with an XT90. • The Solax does come with a storage bag - its nice for dust protection but not overly robust. The interesting thing between these two panels is the reported charging capacity. Each panel was placed in my garden side by side. I fully accept such placement means that neither panel was in the EXACT same position and therefore not receiving the SAME amount of sunlight at PRECISELY the same angle. I just wanted a simple comparison. The end result was : The SOLAX generated slightly more than the Bluetti at 79W per hour and the Bluetti at 71W per hour. A bright, cloudless day at 14:00hrs in the North of England. No amount of gentle re-positioning changed this result in any meaningful way. However, all folding panels degrade over time and I will closely monitor how these two perform over the next few months. If there are any major issues I will update this review. The deal breaker for me was the price as my circumstances guided me towards a 2nd Solar Panel Solax = £109.99 - From Amazon UK Bluetti = £199 - Direct from Bluetti Yes - the Bluetti is better built and has a nice carry handle but is there really an £89.01 difference in performance. The above indicates not. In the event that my travels demand I take one of the panels with me I suspect it will be the Solax - which means taking appropriate protective measures before sliding it into my vehicle. A spare blanket or 2 should do nicely. I suppose the acid test will be the lifespan, but for now the Allpowers SOLAX SE100W wins hands down. (Sorry Bluetti - despite being a fan and owning 4 of your boxes Solar Panel costs are getting silly) Worth the money - I certainly think so.

Terrible quality.
I have two of these panels to charge a Bluetti EB70. I've been on location in Greece for 6 weeks in constant sunshine with temps up to 36 degrees daily. These panels NEVER EVER come close to outputting 100 watts even under Greek sunshine! The most I have ever managed to get, with mid day sunshine and panels positioned accordingly is a miserable 60 watts! To market these solar panels as 100 watts is grossly misleading. Allpowers you should market these as "60 watt solar panels" and stop with the misleading marketing hype. Feel free to message me and tell me how and when, and under what weather conditions, you ever managed to get anything close to 100 watts.....I'll be waiting a long time!! Avoid these panels if you expect anything close to 100 watts! UPDATE. One my solar panels, (reviewed above) has now stopped working. Absolutely no power generated whatsoever. The other panel has gone from producing 60 watts (in strong Greek sunshine!) to 30 watts. Allpowers products are the most unreliable I have ever had the misfortune to own. I will never buy this brand again. Just awful. FURTHER UPDATE! The second panel that dropped to 30 watts output also finally failed completely. That's TWO solar panels, bought several months apart, from Allpowers that failed completely. Both have been discarded at my local recycling centre. These are not reliable products and should not be marketed until the manufacturers recognise the flaws and fixes them.

Ottimo acquisto
Arrivato nei tempi, è un bell’oggetto. L’ho cominciato a provare ieri e funziona bene. Ora vediamo quanto tempo ci metterà per caricare un accumulatore di energia in pieno sole per tutto il giorno
