Used this scraper to fix vinyl flooring which had come undone due to dog pee. the glue was more like freshly melted gooey gum, but this did the job cleanly. Also shout out to my dog for being a bum and making me have to buy this

Sturdy and tough enough for heavy duty scraping. I was surprised at the quality and the price because most scrapers of similar quality were $5 more.

We had a bathroom disaster where 70-year old paint decided to come off the wall. Initially it came off in sheets like wallpaper but the last 20% was virtually impossible to take off. That’s where this scraper comes in. It was really useful in that situation.The one I received isn’t quite like the one in the Amazon photos. It is similar but the handle doesn’t have a molded grip shaped to fit your hand. It’s not the cheapest scraper but it definitely is heavy duty with a firm rubber curved tapered handle with a slight bolster to stop your hand slipping too far forward. The steel is a thick gauge and rigid with the end of the blade ground to a fairly sharp edge. It has some heft and is easy to use. The blade is flat and bites into a paint edge but the corner doesn’t gauge into the drywall or wood as easily as the lighter duty and less sharp painters’ tools I used. It also did a fine job of scraping off hot glue from my vinyl double glazed window sill.It doesn’t have the extra functionality of a painter’s tool but it does the job it was designed for. It also has a steel end that can be used for hammering nails protruding a little too much. I took some photos of the actual scraper to show the difference between the Amazon photos and what I got. It’s gotten some serious use so doesn’t look brand new but you will get the idea.

The media could not be loaded. I'm not a construction person, so I can't really give details about this scraper, other than how well it works for my use. I'm getting ready to paint a couple of rooms in my home, and I've been using one of the scrapers that has the paint can opener on the side and the hammer type end on it. I thought it was working well, until I received this one. This one is so much more substantial, very well made, and so comfortable to hold and easy to use.Where that one was very thin and had already begun to rust, this one has heft to it and really makes the job very easy. I can pull out nails with ease, even out rough spots with the hammer and, and apply spackle in no time. In fact, I thought that I just couldn't apply spackle properly at all. It turns out, it was the cheap tool I was using that was making the job so messy for me. I almost feel like a pro at applying spackle now, as the scraper makes it so easy. It's also easy to remove the little hammer end and attach it to a pole for reaching nails that are higher up without getting on the ladder. I can do all of those at once, and then go back with the ladder, use the hammer end to even things out, and then apply the spackle.I can't tell you how happy I am to have this scraper. It is cutting my prep work time down so much. And, I'm able to do more things with it because it's so robust that it can handle things that my other tool could not. I definitely recommend it!

Ordered this scraper to use for wallpaper removal. I recently removed all the wallpaper from out master bathroom and thought this scraper would come in handy. Didn't really work for that purpose. It was actually too heavy duty for the job. I ended up using a couple of more flexible scrapers that I already had. Where it did come in hand was in removing caulk from around a large soaking tub surround. There was a mixture of silicone and latex caulks and this scraper made removal fairly easy. It's near impossible to completely remove silicone caulk but this scraper removed the vast majority and then I used some mini-razor knives to get off the rest. The scraper is extremely comfortable to use with a handle that's long enough to allow you to put a lot of pressure on it. The hammer butt unscrews to allow a handle to be attached to the scarper for using up high or down low. Handy feature. This thing is build like a tank and I expect it to outlast me. Highly Recommended.

This rusts really quickly -- within a few hours of being damp or having water drops on the blade.This is quite rigid. The blade is solid, with a slight chisel on the end. I think it's too rigid, but my gripe is the loose end cap. You can tighten the end cap with a wrench, but then you need a wrench to remove it -- and unclear why you would? to put it on a pole?

Ho comprato questo raschietto per rimuovere i residui di silicone vecchio dal bagno e devo dire che mi sono trovata benissimo perché è veramente robusto e di buona qualità.Oltre a quello ho rimosso anche la vecchia colla sulle piastrelle lasciata da ganci vari.Consigliato.

Primero de todo de esta valoracion advertir que no es una espatula, tampoco lo pretende, pero así en fotos en una compra rápida es fácil equivocarse ya que lo parece, y en un momento dado se puede apañar, pero la rigidez de la hora complicaría las tareas típicas de una espatula.Lo que si es un excelente rascador, e incluso gracias a la tremenda rigidez de la hoja, se puede usas perfectamente tipo cincel, e incluso viene preparado con un tapón de acero en la parte trasera para poder golpear con un martillo es caso que fuese mecesario.Tenemos 70mm de ancho hoja, con una sección de 2mm, y tremendamente rígida, no tengas miedo de meterme bien fuerte con el martillo que no la doblas. Es genial para arrancar azulejos, o levantar gotele u incluso yeso antiguo.Destacable también su hergonomia, el mango es algo más grande que el de una espatula, y viene recubierto con silicona blandita antideslizante, perfecta para usar sin guantes.Pero lo más destacable y novedoso es su tapón trasero de acero, perfecto para golpear con el martillo. Y no queda ahi la cosa, si lo sacas te queda una rosca que adaptara a muchos palos de escoba, osea, si pensabas que un rascador era un rascador y su diseño ya no daba para más aquí tienes una genial vuelta de tuerca, yo si soy sincero no me fije que algo explica el anuncio, y al desmontar el tapón me he quedado pillado con la historia, me parece que tiene un gran mérito innovar en un diseño que parece que ya lo ha dado todo pero no, todavía los departamentos de I+D pueden sacarle más, a mi desde luego que estas cosas me encantan.Y más menos eso es todo sobre este rascador, me parece una herramienta curradisima, y las funciones que a priori debe cumplir las cumple con creces, y a mayores los extras que comento, y desde luego si buscas un rascador, fuerte, bien hecho, y además innovador va a ser difícil que encuentres algo mejor que esto, puedas comprar con la satisfacción garantizada.Espero también que mi comentario te sirva tanto si es la herramienta que necesitas, como si decides seguir buscando, si es así siempre se agradece que me hagas saber que te ha servido con tu voto útil, siempre es un gran animo para seguir compartiendo experiencias e intentando ayudar a la comunidad.Gracias por leerme y un saludo.
