1/144 HGGB #07 Beginning D Gundam

its ok not as nice as i thaught it would end up to be but good kit nontheless

模型誌、電撃ホビーで連載中のガンプラビルダーズに登場する機体で、ＨＧビギニングガンダムのリデコになります。まずはマイナス面から。目立つ合わせ目が頭部、肩カバー、肩、前腕、胴体、アンクルガードの前後、武器と結構あります。隈取、胴体とシールド以外の紺色の部分は全部シール、特に別パーツ化されているわけではないので塗装するならマスキングが必須です。付属する左手が形状重視の握り手のみですので、銃を握りながらビームサーベルを抜くといったことができません。ビームサーベルいえば、手首の赤パーツと干渉して動きが制限されます。ＡＧＥやＯＯのＨＧシリーズと比べると全体的に一回り大きいのですが、頭部と胴体だけが二回り大きくスタイルのバランスを崩しています。肩間接の位置がかなり前と下によっていることもその一因となっています。ストレートに組むだけでかっこいい最近のキットと比べると見劣り部分が多くありますが、それでもそれを補って余りある魅力がこのキットにはあります。まず最初にビギニング・ビギニング３０より延長された腿パーツによって短足が軽減され膝立ちがより自然に決まるようになった点です。ポロポロ落ちやすかったビームサーベルの柄も大型化し背中の接続パーツにも工夫が見られます。タイトル通り改造前提ということならば、ビギニングＪと比べると没個性的と言われる直線的なデザインも、他キットとなじみやすいという長所へと変わります。映像作品前提では無いので個々のパーツの情報量が多く、例えばＡＧＥシリーズのウェアパーツ化しただけでもものすごい満足感があります。（カスタマーイメージ参照）特徴的な、全身の角の落とされた三角形パーツは特殊なフィールド発生装置でスラスターにも使えるという設定なのですが、リデコキットという特性上このパーツが１０個以上余ります。このパーツを改造のさい追加パーツに使用すると統一感を増すことができお得です。仮組みより一週間あまり、ああでもないこうでもないと試行錯誤の毎日です。うまく説明できて無いのですが、連載中のガンプラビルダーズと相まって想像力をかきたてる良いキットだと思います。

There are a lot of extra parts from the Beginning Gundam that don't do anything and it has a lot of little parts for the color separation (while having plenty of blue stickers!), but once everything is done it articulates extremely well and it feels really good to pose this kit.There are better kits, but it's quite fun to pose once all is said and done!

It has great articulation and some good interchangable weapons, as expected from the generation, and the simple frame makes it more solid than other more gaudy kits, but it seriously lacks colour separation in some areas. The rifle is all white without even foil stickers for the colour section and the iconic triple beam saber hand is all one clear piece meaning the builder will have to add colour on their own
