Beautiful Instruction Guide
This book is well written and extremely beautiful. Just having the instructions on how to cook west African soup, along with the kind of starches and how to make it left me delighted. This is a wonderful gift and guide for anyone that likes to cook or eat.

This is my go-to West African food book!
I've LOVED this book. Yes, the recipes are great — easy to follow and extremely delicious. However, the book ALSO includes descriptions and brief histories about popular ingredients and kitchen tools used to make the different soups.I grew up quite distant from my parents, so when I moved out, I needed something that would help me keep eating the foods that were so important to me growing up. This book has really done wonders for me. I cook fufu and soups for myself and friends all the time!

The REAL Deal!
As a person of Nigerian descent, I cannot express enough the excitement and satisfaction of finally witnessing a book in the market that truly provides a thorough understanding of what Fufu is all about. Chef Kavachi pushes the envelope further by providing context of the ingredients, instrructions for cooking the recipes, and even the orgins of the types of fufu and soups eaten with this delicious entrée. The book introduces you to the customs of several cultures in West Africa, and creates a tangible path for readers not familiar with the food to take a risk and explore it for themselves. I'm hopeful that this cookbook will be a game changer for the way that our world appreciates West African cuisine and it's important meaning to the people of the culture. Congratulations Chef Kavachi & Grubido!

A MUST for any nigerian descent household
This book is excellent. As a white woman who married into a nigerian family but are all living in the west: this is the book i wish we had a decade ago.Excellent photography, info, details. Things we can show to non-africans and our mixed children to teach them about food culture ingredients, and preparation. Thank you so much to the author and publishers, this has made my Igbo husbands work sharing his heritage a lot easier.
