Bought this imagining a window box for an outdoor juniper bonsai. Planned to install in the window of my fifth floor apartment. Opened the box and immediately began instead imagining the inevitable tort negligence suit when it falls apart and creams someone on the sidewalk.The wrapped steel cables are actually pretty decent, but I'm not sure about the quality of the welds. The frame when fully assembled is good enough, I suppose. However, the weight-bearing "shelf" (the most important part of the item) is just a snap-in, snap-out flimsy plasticky piece secured by nothing except a slightly curved lip that fits around the metal bars, similar to the plastic top on a cup of soda. This shelf bears only a negligible amount of weight; it certainly would not hold 130 lbs as advertised. On that note, I would also like to point out that the pictures in the item description are plainly, obviously, and amateurishly photoshopped and therefore that you should not expect this shelf to bear significant amounts of weight and should not install it anywhere above ground level or where someone may be injured by falling items.I understand that the Seller is not responsible for my expectations or my intended use, but they do need to a) be clearer about the nature of the construction/materials, b) clarify that this product is NOT safe for items above a certain weight, does NOT hold 130 lbs, and is not intended for use above ground level, c) revise the listing to get rid of the obviously inaccurate pictures of the item and the misleading implications as to how much weight it can bear, and d), while I'm thinking about it, include clearly written assembly instructions with non-blurry photographs.Overall I give this item a very generous 1 out of 5. I got what I paid for, I guess, but I'm pretty unhappy with the way the seller misleads as to the strength of the shelf and implies that it can hold more weight than it obviously can.

I got this to replace a rusty table so I would have a spot to put my coffee cup or wine glass. It freed up floor space on my teeny tiny balcony for more flower pots. It was easy to install, the instructions were great.OH NO, Rusty Table to Rusty Steel Rope, it is still is convenient but rust is not appealing. Very disappointed, in less than two months the steel ropes started rusting, which greatly distracts from its appearance.

A little difficult to assemble on a rail.

Bought this rack because I like it being corrosion-free. Some have reviewed that the cables will rust. Well, I've figured the way out by using stainless steel hose clamps instead. That's the easy part.But the problem with the product is that the joints are soldered half-heartedly (as can been seen in the pics) at one point only as opposed to the whole joint. I'm worried the joints will give way in the future, falling from the balcony railings and injuring people as a result.So although the stainless steel rack is a great idea, but it has been made haphazardly. The manufacturer needs to put in more effort to make it a great product.
