Very comfortable and durable lightweight pants for hiking/biking/everyday use
I love these pants. I bought them for mountain biking and hiking and they are perfect for that. Thin and light, yet durable. I like them so much I bought a couple extra pairs and end up just wearing them as everyday pants. They're comfortable and stylish. They are good for moderate temperatures (50 deg F to maybe 75 deg F) depending on how active you are in them. I wouldn't wear them for hiking/biking when near/below freezing as they're fairly thin. They do block the wind fairly well but won't hold in a lot of warmth.

Awesome pants for the price
I've paid 3x as much for hiking pants from big name brands, that look and feel similar to these. Maybe they come off the same production lines? Anyway, these pants have a reasonable amount of stretch, a decent level of water/liquid resistance, and are thin/lightweight. Perhaps describable like a more durable windbreaker type material, but I haven't tested them in high winds yet. I'm 5'8", 155 lbs and went with a small. Normally I go with a 30-32 waist, 32 length depending on the clothing brand. Waist fits perfect and there's just the right amount of excess length in the legs. My two complaints are... The pockets need to be bigger, and the plastic belt buckle comes loose constantly. But, a belt can be replaced easily enough. I've bought two pairs of these pants, and plan to buy more.

Waterproof? Yes. Lightweight? Yes. Fit? DIY
Amazed that when I ran water tests at home to test that the pants were actually waterproof and not just "water resistant". 100% satisfied. In fact, I don't understand why someone who buys waterproof anything would not run a test at home when they get the product instead of wearing it and waiting to test it until a real life situation when they really need it. These are great lightweight hiking pants. Love the zippered pockets. Two in normal spot, one in the back, and two thinner ones, one on each of the outer thigh area... all zippered. Also, I love that the normal pockets are half zippered, because it helps keep things in there versus if the zipper went all the way down, there would be a chance your items could fall out. The only reason I am giving the pants 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the fit... but my complaint can probably really be drawn up as a more of a personal preference. When I go backpacking, I personally prefer a slimmer fit. I don't like extra material hanging far from my body because it could get caught on bushes, rocks, etc. So the hardest decision about buying these pants was figuring out the size I should get. It was difficult sifting through the existing reviews because some said the fit was just right, others too small, others too large/long. I decided to split the decision down the middle and get medium (in pants, I am normally 32" W 30" length. I could be 32" length as well, but I just don't like very much bunched up material at the bottom of my pants. I like the hem to hit right at the top of my foot. So I ordered medium, and the waist fit fine. It was a little roomy, but not much, and whatever room I had was easily remedied with the belt that was included. The length however, was too long for my liking. I had to hem up the pants like 2-3 inches to be comfortable. I also decided to taper them from the knee down to give them a more slim/skinnier feel and look. With those changes, the pants are DOPE! Love them!

Works well
Wore in Yosemite in light snow. Fits well, comfortable and held up well on trails.I usually wear about 42-48 waist depending on the manufacturer.

They are lightweight, durable, and ideal for what I am looking for.
I'm 72 years old, and while I hike in the woods perhaps more than many other 72-year-olds, I am not a long-range hiker, although I do think about it now and then. These would do very well for those who want to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail, as they are well-made, very light, durable, and water-resistant, if not actually waterproof. I still need to do that test. Whatever your age might be, if you are looking for something that looks reasonably good, has plenty of pockets, is very lightweight, and is durable, these are a good choice. I've worn my first pair several times and am pleased with them. That's not why I bought them, however. As mentioned, I am 72 years old and carry a bit more weight than I would like. Absent a diet and exercise plan, I am always looking for pants that will stay up, and there are some places where sweatpants just aren't appropriate. As you age and put on some weight, your body undergoes changes that render regular pants with a belt insufficient. You don't think old people wear suspenders as a fashion statement, do you? I grew up on a farm but only began wearing suspenders a few years ago. Fortunately, by the time you've reached your 70s, you've lost some of your vanity, so I wear suspenders occasionally, but I can't say that I like them. These will stay up under normal circumstances even without the belt that comes with them. With the belt, there are no worries whatsoever, so I can carry things with both hands without worrying about my pants falling, and there is no need for suspenders.I've purchased a couple of these. If they came in a few more colors, I'd buy more.Later... They are available in several colors now, so I've ordered a third pair.
