KJV, Personal Size Reference Bible, Sovereign Collection, Leathersoft, Brown, Red Letter, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, King James Version

This Bible is well constructed... well sewn at the spine and the cover is flexible. It's also an excellent size for carrying around. (5.75" W x 8.9" H x 1.63" Thick; this is the Bible only - not in the box.) When I ordered it I was a little concerned that the 9.5 pt. font wouldn't be large enough; however, it turns out to be just right... not too large, not too small, very easy to read. The paper is of real good quality as the pages are easily turned. (I don't need to wrestle with them to turn single pages.) The paper is almost opaque which makes the print easy to read and also makes note taking easier. I didn't expect to get this nice a Bible for this money.

Only been using this one for a day or 2 but so far I love it! It's nicer to read than my previous non Nelson Bible, feels good in my hands and the font and printing is nice to look at, I went with this Sovereign Collection because I really like the classic drop cap look, reminds me of the older original King James Bibles. This is my first time adding tabs to my Bible too, got gold ones to match the gold gilding. I'm on a journey to read the entire Bible, as I've actually never read it apart from verses over the years taught to me from church and family, mostly because I've always had an aversion to reading growing up, so having a Bible that's nice to look at helps keep my attention better while I'm learning to read more.

I started my search for a new Bible in March 2023. I was so picky about what I wanted, how I wanted certain things formatted in my Bible, the Bible cover design, etc. I preferred the end of verse references instead of having them in the center or bottom of the page, and also wanted giant print. This Bible didn't have these 2 features that I wanted but it had everything else I needed! It's okay to give up a couple of things, a humbling experience. :)My testimony is that after searching for a Bible the first time, I couldn't find one and decided to hold off. My old Bible, the pages were torn out and I had self stitched them back into the leather spine of the book. However, flipping through the sewn pages were difficult and very easy for pages to rip out again. Hence, in December 2023, I decided to search for a new Bible again. This time, I asked God to help me find one that would be good for me and that I would like or love it a lot.With my search, I came across a few KJV Bibles that were likely candidates for purchase. However, I came across this one and after reviewing its many features, etc., I felt this was the one I wanted. After recieving it in the mail, it was exactly what I wanted (minus the 2 features I mentioned above), but it was close enough. There are more pros than cons!!! I was really happy to have this version of KJV Bible. The Sovereign Collection is truly a beautiful set. I love the Bible cover design, gold letterings on the cover, and gold filamented pages. Love the ribbon markers and book introductions. I love the "Letter to King James" from the scholars who compiled and translated the KJV Bible. The drop cap artistry at the beginning of every chapter was very pretty! It was one of the main points that I decided to purchase this Bible. I love that every book of the Bible started on a new page and didn't continue on the same page as the book previous to it. Love that chapters are sectioned off properly and not just "numbered" like other versions I've seen. I definitely love the sub-titles within the chapters to help locate a specific part of scriptures, much easier to find. I love that each book, chapters, and sub-titles are all printed in red instead of black. Makes it more unique.Please consider giant print and end-of-verse references for your Bibles again. These would be much easier to find references to other scriptures and alternative translations for words when they are found at the end of each scripture instead of skimming at the bottom or center of the page every time. Very confusing and time consuming, in my opinion.If references are placed at the bottom, it would help it they were placed in an chronological order in formatted list form. This would also make it easier to find referenced scriptures/alternative translations.Thank you so much for making a beautiful Bible! Love it very much. Very happy overall.

I really like this Bible. The font is big which I love! I liked it enough to get the wide margin version of this KJV.The leathersoft was not bad. I have both brown and black. Both are fine but the brown might be where I am leaning more towards liking.The page is not premium but it is good for a cheaper Bible paper. Font as I said is big and bold. I will say the Red Letter is... ok. I have had the dark rust red letter Bibles and much prefer that. However, I have seen worse and it is not atomic pink (jab at the old Thompson Chain pink letter Bibles).I recommend. I ended up gifting one to my sister as she was needing a new Bible. She loves it.

When I ordered I was given an estimated date of delivery but seller excelled at getting it out MUCH sooner.Arrived quickly and as described. I love this Bible. I myself owned one and my hubby kept trying to steal it from me so this order was for him. You cannot go wrong when reading the WORD OF GOD daily. Love this bible. Well made, readable font, book introductions, love the format with red chapter titles, red numbers. Its exactly what i wanted. Also 2 bookmarks. Beautifully made.

Just the right size, has the feel of much more expensive covers, font is a very good choice and size. I also have the NKJV and I like them both very well for everyday study!

Really nice looking Bible. The paper is 36 GSM and printed really well. Old style drop caps on each chapter. Well made and will last.

It’s a great bible version, I highly recommend it.

This bibe was my favourite bible when I saw the layout, page thickness, size, design etc, until I saw how cheap the binding was. It was falling apart litterally within an hour of reading. Idk what they are playing at over there at thomas nelson, but if they are going to make such a think bible atleast use strong enough glue. If you rally like the interface and layout, the best thing to do is pay for a private rebind. Otherwise don't bother. It will fall apart unless you super glue it yourself.
