Io ormai sono un fan della Vanillaware e di George Kamitami. Ho avuto modo di giocare a quasi tutti i suoi giochi ma ovviamente il suo capolavoro è OdinSphere e in questa versione per PS4 mostra tutto il potenziale inespresso su PS2. A differenza di allora cambia tutto! Si amplia il gameplay con nuovo sistema di miglioramento del personaggio, nuove mosse e incantesimi, nuova..."cucina" (per chi non sapesse, in questo gioco per far salire di livello i personaggi bisogna farli mangiare vari cibi, e per farlo bisogna reperire ingredienti per le pietanze o mangiare nei ristoranti^^'...e tutto questo ha nuove meccaniche), nuove mappe e nuovi nemici (peccato non avere un bestiario consultabile per potersi godere le nuove illustrazioni e animazioni). Insomma, è un gioco completamente nuovo e diverso dalla versione PS2 che addirittura è giocabile come "versione classica" dal menù principale. Inutile aggiungere altro, se non avete mai giocato a OdinSphere, Leifthrasir è l'occasione giustissima per recuperarlo. Se vi piacciono gli rpg, gli hack'n'slash a scorrimento, i giochi bidimensionali con animazioni dettagliate, la mitologia norrena, allora questo gioco è fatto apposta per voi.

So, at first I was hesitant, as I loved the OG game. But, uh, great news! This has the ORIGINAL AND THE REMAKE on it. They have the main screen for the remake (Leifthrasir) AND a "classic" mode, wherein you play the original format as well! The remake has quite a few improvements to overall gameplay, while staying true to the story of the original.
