Q: Does this work with a Sony Alpha A6000 camera as well as binoculars?

The screw mount works with any camera tripod adapter mount. If your Sony has a threaded hole on the bottom to mount onto a tripod then it will mate directly. If no threaded hole, see what manner your camera mounts onto a tripod and purchase an adapter mount. I purchased the adapter mounts for GoPro on here for cheap. The adapter mount has a threaded hole in the bottom and the the top mates to your camera, so just look for Sony Alpha A6000 and adapter mounts (if you lack a threaded hole on the bottom). Otherwise it will mount right in. I love the product. I just have to cinch my pack tight in order to not bounce around.

Q: Does this bino kit comes with the capture v2 or the v3?

Realizing this is an old question, but answer as I had the same question and after research, based on the photos, it's the v2 "Capture Standard" version which means the back plate is the glass-filled nylon version vs die-cast metal called CapturePRO. The very latest is the v3 which Peak Design says on their site the Bino Kit is compatible with too should anyone want to buy the bino kit plate alone.

Q: Will the mount work with porro prisms?

It is compatible with all binoculars that have a tripod mount.

Q: Will it work with nikon monarch 7? thank you

We have it mounted on a Monarch 5 and it works great!! Don’t know why it wouldn’t work for a 7 also.
